I was really hoping to see the warlock class get some new life and some new options with BRM, and I kind of feel like it is the class that got most overlooked with the new cards. At least in current archetypes. Any thoughts?
I don't really see warlock using any of the new neutral cards, except maybe the 6 mana 5/5 guy that reduces the cost of cards in hand. The two class cards seem nice for a mid-rangey demon deck though.
I think Demon decks got a nice round-off on the bottom end to strengthen the archetype. I don't think the class got shafted at all as the 3-slot is definitely lacking with this class.
Demon decks got a big buff with the imp gang boss due to them not having a 3 drop. With the other card, well, not so much, although I can see it being used in demon decks. Now, if you want to see a class that got stiffed, then just look at druid. I believe that they unfortunately got screwed over. A large taunt (even though they already have 2) and a better version of magma rager. I don't really know what people were expecting, since zoo is crap now compared to face hunter and handlock is already a complete deck. What else is there besides demonlock?
Handlock got a buff (via neutrals Emperor Thaurissan e.g. ; many other decks as well, so it's kinda moot) and Demonlock + Zoo got a buff with Imp Gang Boss. Admittedly, Demonwrath is kinda mediocre, but I don't see how Warlocks got shafted. Look at Druids. :X
And the 3drop Imp Gang Boss is cool! Love the demons :D
Well for 1 mana less you also don't hit enemy's face and hit your own minions as well with the exception of demons, which goes for enemy demons too. Not sure that 1 mana is worth it tbh. 2 damage is also petty and it rarely has value on its own without trading before hand. We have no Equality at our disposal. Hellfire does a better job all around. For Demonwrath to be better, you need to have a few pretty situational conditions. It's by no means a bad card, but why play it over a better card (and don't forget Shadowflame). I don't get what Blizz does sometimes. We already have an all-board AoE, why give us another one that does exactly the same minus face damage. If it would be only for the enemy board, it would be a different case entirely. I wonder the same about Mage's recent cards. Why give them yet another direct damage spell? Flamecannon was already way too similar.
Nah, Demonwrath is pretty decent as is the Imp Gang boss. This expansion probably won't make any new Warlock only deck types, but it gives you good tools to adapt to the meta with and that has good value.

Agreed. Tbh though, Warlock is my least favorite class so I don't really care LOL

False. Bane of Doom change is the ULTIMATE BRM addition

Warlock? Overlooked? Every other class got 2 class cards, while warlocks got 3! kappa
