I'm actually surprised at how powerful this deck can be. I get boards equal or better than classic handbuff paladin, but with a much better early game.
This is basicly a zoo deck that suddenly has huge boards near the end.
Because of redundancy. This isn't the only card in the deck that likes being buffed, so you don't have to wait to draw it to go off. Also, when you draw it later, you can count on drawing buff cards since there are so many now. And make no mistake, this card is REALLY good in the deck. Nearly always 7 4/4's. Often more.
Because of how many lacky's you can create. You are bound to have either a full board with small minions to kill of, or goblin lacky's to give rush. Buffing just twice is enough. Also, history buff has a similar role (and is actually way better) so you can count on drawing a buff when you need it.
Suggestions on how to improve? Currently I worry there might be too many cards to buff and maybe too little early game or comeback mechanics. But I have not played the deck enough to know. I think about cutting one omega agent for one magic carpet, but worry it can't beat control decks then.
Good theory, ill try it out soon, but first i thought that u can improve the lackey plays with tekan. I mean yeah the 1/1 is optional for handbuff but hireek is one board fill, and with bigger Lackeys u can make bigger pressure and save hireeks from board clear. Maybe the imo tokens and plague to have one removal if u are under pressure with late game or midrange decks
Curious about the inclusion of Diseased Vulture sans activators, with the exception of hero power and Flame Imp. I'd cut that, and add some removal. Another inclusion could be Anubisath Warbringer. I know that its super slow, but it is a solid late game hurrah. Overall a decent looking build, but definitely needs removal since this is a greedy late game deck.
You could also consider using Barista Lynchen as a reload card, drop Omega Agent and then dropping her will instantly add back 3 Agents to your hand.

Right on the money. After looking over the list I quickly realised this was the card to throw out, as good as it is on its own, magic carpet is more necessary.
Barista lynchen may work, but the reload isn't needed. The main reason I would include it is to double up on lacky generators.
CW used two brawls, 2 warpaths and 1 plague of wrath, and it still wasn't enough.
This was also my 500th warlock win! I'm not ashamed to admit I got teary eyed.

I read over this. Dark pharao Te'kan is indeed a good idea. Unfortunately I would have to craft him. I do have the dust, but I'm still on the fence.
EDIT:
Wow, this really is my lucky hearthstone day, isn't it :o
So I've been losing a lot since my early success. Which is good since it forced me to improve the deck.
The matchups against aggro and quest priest, quest druid and murloc paladin were pretty weak, so that's what the changes focus on most.
Here is what changed.
OUT
Diseased vulture. Good card, but no synergy with the deck.
Mecharoo OUT. It does not do much on its own in this deck.
1X spirit of the bat OUT. Spirit of the bat is the worst buff card in the deck. I let one go to give the deck more survivability.
2X faceless lurker and 1X SnipSnap out. The faceless lurkers were good, but there were too many high drops after the adjustments I've made. SnipSnap is good on it's own, but especially with one less spirit, it lacks synergy.
IN
2x magic carpet as a way to come back.
1X dark pharao tekan. It makes the deck A LOT stronger as it turns out.
2X sinister deal. With the dark pharao, this just makes a whole lot of sense.
2X plague of flames. This one was really the key change. Suddenly you beat quest priest easy and stand a good chance against quest druid and aggro priest. Have not met a murloc pally since this change.
Currently considering:
Flame imp doesn't do a whole lot and is often a dead draw in the late game when you need health. But I do need it for the early game I feel.
I actually want to find room for faceless lurkers again somehow. Maybe swap them with the imp?
Yeah, he's still on my list. I'm still trying to find room for stuff. The deck has become more control oriented, but I think maybe my original idea was best with the more zoo-like build. Leeroy would suit that much better.
Another idea I have is replacing one omega agent with barista (again).
In those cases when you truly need multiple (against cw, maybe priest) you can combo with barista. Otherwise, you can get extra lackeys with barista. Seems like a good plan.
This is the decklist that I'm currently testing and I'm surprised with its decent winrate vs popular decks, though I'm only playing it in casual as it's still in experiment mode. I'm switching Illidan and Glinda and cant decide which one of the two will be more suitable to the deck. Would be glad if anyone can give their own input on how to make the deck better, as personally, I'm trying hard to make the deck work since it is kind of a new gameplay for me. I'm also thinking that maybe it lacks more support and I think we'll get those cards next expansion. Currently, I'm happy with this list.

Leeroy would be a good fit. A well buffed one brings a good finishing punch.

No leeroy? I tried a few games with him, got a 12/8 leeroy a few times, nasty stuff.
