Wild or Standard it doesn't matter. I would like to know if its possible to reach rank 5 or above with it in the new season next month. I don't have Mecha'thun but i can craft him.
Edit: Made some changes to the deck from suggestions.
"The flow of time is always cruel... its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days..."
In order to play a Mecha'thun deck you first and foremost need draw. Your deck doesn't have that. Second, you really can't play voidlords or any summoning deathrattle, because this possibly destroys your Mecha'thun win condition. And third and probably most important of all, how are you planning on getting your Mecha'thun to 8 mana consistently? Thaurissan will get removed the turn it is played in far too many cases to be reliable, because everyone and their gradnmother knows he must be removed. You have to play Galvanizers.
Your deck could get a good winrate, but certainly not because of the Mecha'thun Win-Condition, but because of Voidlords and Bloodreaver Guldan. I have a link to a "real" Mecha'thun deck for you in a minute, where this is your win-condition.

I got draw in the deck but i can add more np. Thaurissan is played to reduce the cost of mecha'thun and bloodbloom and the effect triggers at the end of your turn so it's not really difficult. If i remove voidlord, what should i add instead of it?.
If you have a good mecha'thun deck list then please share it. Thanks
Ok, here it is. You can get legend with this deck, if played properly. However, it is not easy to play. Not every card is mandatory, only Mecha'thun, the galvanizers, bloodbloom and cataclysm are needed for the finishing combo. The rest just helps you getting there. Your gameplan is stalling and drawing your whole deck. So you have to manage your removals and your hand size. Play your galvanizers at one point in the game when you have mechathun in hand and then go off once your deck is finished.
Edit: Would replace the siphon soul with a Novice Engineer for even more draw, Siphon is too expensive. One copy of a voodoo doll can also be used, but with so many hunter spellstones atm I would favor the Hellfire.

Sure man, I am sorry, I forgot that Thaurrisan lowers the cost of all cards, not only minions. Of course it works then, in Wild. My deck was a standard deck anyay. Hope you will find success with it.

It's cool. I will try out your standard version also. Thanks for helping out.
I actually crafted Mecha'thun a week ago to try this. I dropped ranks. I did have good draw and I did have good aoe but i tried to put some heals into it and I still lacked healing and that was even against non hyper aggressive decks. I think the deck just lacks healing a lot
Edit: Oh this was non even version. Yeah I was playing evenlock

Yeah i took out the siphon soul and added in draw + mistress of mixtures for more healing.
So, deck is good enough to hit rank5. Your goal to discount with Emperor: Bloodbloom and Mecha'thun once, so u can play Mecha'thun for 9 than Bloodbloom for 1 and than Cataclysm. This deck is basically draw cards and remove enemy units. U cannot play Hemet before u have Bloodbloom in hand. So Hemet and Bloodbloom always keep in opening hand. After you play Hemet u have access to active Reno Jackson and premium removal Twisting nether.
Thats all. Hope u enjoy it :) I have a lot of fun playing this deck!

Lol I play a version with only 4 legendaries being lord godfrey, zilliax, bloodmage and mechathun. I'll include my list.. standard budget version hehe..
To answer your question.. no I highly doubt it can get you to rank 5 or less. In wild I played RenoLock last month to rank 6, then found it difficult to get any farther without investing a ton of time whixh I didnt have. I needed to play big priest or even shaman to go any further. In standard, I would play even shaman, pally or warlock to get past rank 5.
Note that in wild I ended last month at rank 5 and standard rank 10.
Been destroying almost everything in my path with this one. It's more tempo oriented, so it exerts more pressure, leading to a slower combo, but overall better matchups.
There's got to be some room for Godfrey in there, but idk where. Probably the Drain Soul.

Isn't the even version just better?

Do you have a decklist for it?.
i would probably try to fit in a mal'ganis and deathlord just for survivability and DK synergy

Hit the 2 galvanizers on mechathun, draw your deck play mechathun-> bloodbloom -> catacylasm = GG
Have fun =)
This is in standard.

I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
