does anyone else have issues with triggers for the quest? I feel like I'm the only one...
for example, I'll play firefly, return him to the deck and play him again with no triggers. Or I will play both the elementals that he gives you in one turn with no trigger. Ok so i tried to wait a turn and try again...for example, I'll play novice engineer, use gadgetzen ferryman to return to deck, play next turn and no trigger. Or an even better one, I will play both southsea deckhands on the same turn and no trigger.
Everywhere I look I see people with no problems doing just what I described above...what am I missing?
Did you already play two of a different minion previously? If you play two minions of the same name, and then play two different minions of the same name, it will stay at 2/4 because you only played 2 of the same name.
If you look at your quest counter it will tell you what card has the highest number of triggers. If it is a tie it shows you the first card you got to that number of plays. As others have said, this means the quest won't visibly trigger again if you play two firefly but you have played two of another card before. As soon as you get it to a new high (e.g. Play a third firefly) the quest should trigger to three and the name of the tracked card will change. Hope this helps.

@Chimera is correct, it might be confusing sometimes.
The Quest does track every minion you play, but it only updates when you play more than the current max.
Wants to play Captain Cookie Druid because why not?

Take it this way: if the counter doesn't update with the new drop, it means the counter for it is surely lower than what is displayed.
