I have been playing with this build for a good while now and don't see anyone else playing this which really surprises me. Time to share how I broke the Priest class once and for all. Hope to get some fans out of this and maybe even some new friends. Pics of my fun will be posted in next comment below. Thank you for your time.
I agree with TheSmokie. Your test run of the deck is not a good indicator for how well it truly performs in the meta. The players who use legendaries at that rank are most likely less skilled than the players at a higher rank.
As he pointed out, the deck needs some consistency. Those 8 random minions could be 4 pairs of minions. Yes, it's good to craft your own unique decks and have some fun with them, but you should try to make it as efficient as possible. You're incorrect to suggest "you only need one" of a card. If you want to ensure the highest possible chance of you getting a decent hand each game, then you should have multiples of the important cards. Having such an incongruous group of minions is hardly reliable.
Inner Fire/Divine Spirit gimmicky Priest decks have been around for a while, the reason for your surprise at your success is because you haven't seen them around often. There's a reason for you not seeing them often in matchups because those decks are wildly inconsistent, and heavily reliant on those combo cards. Hate to sound cynical, but once you progress higher up the ranks, you're going to struggle when you don't get the right draws. At the same time, more experienced players will have some sort of removal/silences in hand to ruin the fun.
I didn't deny that it has had success, that is far from the point I was trying to make. I was trying to give you criticism to help you improve the deck. To reiterate what I was trying to get across: a MiLB team doesn't have great success and then claim to be the answer to the problems of struggling MLB teams.
If you truly "broke the priest class", the deck would give you more success than rank 17. Yielding a high win rate in that area of the ladder is fairly easy to accomplish; a deck doesn't have to be great to perform well at rank 17.
That's similar to what I ran during the first few days of my Hearthstone journey. Worked very well at rank 20-15, then got trashed from rank 14 onwards.
I guess I should have clarified that rank 17 was what I had gotten to the last couple days. Still bringin it down :D I understand what you are saying about multiple copies of cards and trust me that is exactly the route I would be running if I had 2 of everything I was running. I am making new cards all the time. I will continue making this better. After I get duplicates it will be game on, but worse. Thanks for the advice though sevsick.
Yeah Inner Fire decks are and have always been great for new Hearthstone players!
Hope you will still stay in the way of the Light after you start losing with it too ;) You can also take a look at the class sticky for ideas and what cards to aim for to build Priest decks that will help you in higher ranks!
i don't get the attitude of some people. It is a fine deck for where you are. Yes when you get higher you may find it doesn't work but if you are winning right now, that's the true measuring stick. We all have to adjust as we rank up. And I am glad you are enjoying the game with this deck. If I could offer constructive criticism instead of beating you down.... have you been getting the Nax cards? I ask because many of those can easily be obtained and some may instantly be better than Grunt and other cards you've chosen.

dude just read what the OP said. "No one else playing" and "broken deck". We just pointed out his mistakes and suggested better alternatives. If that's not constructive then i wonder what is?

Twas not everyone's comment that caught my bewilderment, but one in particular, and it was not your comment to be sure.
Someone having fun playing hearthstone with original deck they'd like to share. Quick! Everyone come trash him. Obviously he's at lower ranks (his S/S show that). He is giving other players with few cards a fun idea, it's not like he's shitting up other threads saying his deck is better than the netdeck2001121. As others have said it probably won't do well at rank 5 but that's not the point of the post. Congrats on your new fun deck, thanks for sharing!

What rank are you?
Pics of some of my games.
17 at the moment.
More destruction! I love this deck! <3
Rank 17, that explains it.
Sorry , but that deck is not broken at all, and 1x cards well.. No.
You only need one, so if you say so. You are not immune of the one shot.

It serves me well so far.

Inconsistent deck. Sorry Bro but u gotta fine tune that. Give up the gimicky innerfire cheese and play some consistent stuff.
I felt the same as you in October 2013. Listen to people OR grind more ranks before doing this.
