If it's the secret paladin decks, you can just play midrange hunter with flares.
I thought so myself until yesterday I saw a game when hunter played Flare on turn 6 just after Mysterious Challenger put 6 secrets on board. So Flare destroyed all those secrets but hunter still died two turns after. I have no idea how he could win this. Maybe with absolutely perfect early game curve he could. Seemed so helpless.
He probably only putted 5 secrets on board, since the maximum amount of secrets that you can have at one time, is 5...
there is no limit to the amount of secrets you can have out at a time.
i saw Trolden videos where people stole other classes secrets to attain more than 5.
No you did not see that, you just made that up. You can only brake the limit with Mad Sceintist, but not with Kezan Mystic or Mysterius Challenger, or by playing the secrets from hand.
Just add salt .... sorry couldn´t resist. I was struggling getting past rank 7 yesterday (was only facing mage and paladins) with my mad hatter paladin so i teched in double blood knight and double consecration and went on 8-1 streak to rank 5 two stars.
paladin is all about board control, dropping a hatter on turn 6 with no board doesn´t win you the game.
The truth is Pally was a mediocre class till TGT and now he flourish (along with Shaman) with a new, viable build. It must be as irritating for other players as MechMage, Patron Warrior, Demon Zoo and all alikes were when they first appeared. I personally don't like the idea of secrets and I even more dislike the fact there is only one class card that nullifies them and one neutral that can steal one at the cost of tempo loss...
All in all Paladin's secrets are nowhere as pissing off as Mage's or Hunter's ;)
Shaman isn't flourishing sadly, the truth that totem shaman as it stands is currently pretty low tier is dawning on us Shaman players now, perhaps there is a viable deck we can get out of TGT but the midrange shaman lists you see around are not it.
Secret paladin is really really frustrating to play against with my control warrior. I usually win but if I don't it turned out to be really really frustrating! I guess its cool to see paly, especially when they are not in my games *wink wink*
really?.... i literally farm them with my control warrior.... i play deathlords and they suck so much dmg
In my word I see I have a 65% win ratio against paladin, but most of that is eboladin, i play a heavy armor style warrior and will win in the late game but during the mid game if the paladin draws well I sometimes get screwed over.
my deck is quite similar but i also play 2x deathlords and justicar. if i get board control and the right cards theres no way any deck can bring me down. i fatigued a priest twice
I found that vs Shaman, Secretpaladin removing one bash and adding a second brawl is just auto-win but in other matchups the bash is so usefull it really depends on how many I will see. I might start teching Harrison tough, since the amount of weapon classess is over 9000 ^.^
I don't think the matchup vs Secretpaladin is that hard, or unfavored, but its just very "anoying" like... playing against patron :D
yeah the annoying part is when they have played everything in their hand and suddenly by magic turn 6 mysterious challenger appears. at least they named the card correctly its fucking mysterious how they draw them every time on turn 6
The aggro secret paladin it's kinda weak/average imho, the midrange version (which is simply a classic midrange pally with the addition of 5-6 secrets and the mysterious challenger) is pretty good but far away from being cancer.
As someone who played Secret Paladin before BRM's launch, i can see how Secret Paladin can get annoying. I've never encountered anyone using a secret paladin deck so far Since TGT's Launch. I guess the Aggravation comes from helplessness, the fact you can't control what happens to your opponents minions.
Needless to say, as I'm sure many other players would agree, I really like the Secret system as it is, and I wouldn't like to see it changed too drastically.
My issue isn't the secret system, its the mysterious challenger card and how out of balance and whack it is. Casting 5 free spells (secrets are delayed spells so they say) is a bit crazy. Imagine if I dropped a 6/6 as a mage, or druid, and or priest and got to cast 5 holy smite, or living roots, or arcane missles.... The effect is just to much for its mana cost and its body. If it was like a 4/4 or something it would make more sense, or if the mana cost was higher, but I think whoever decided that card was balanced didn't give the proper weight to the power of those secrets when tossed up all at once. Sure, individually they are not that special, but they were not terrible for the 1 mana they cost. The way they synergize though and all at once, is the issue.
Seeing how everyone hates the class that has been my favourite since closed beta makes me really sad. How can you call a deck that runs Sludge Belcher, Tirion Fordring, Lay on Hands and Quartermaster aggro? It's just a midrange pally, that uses 7-10 cards that are usually only strong with Mysterious Challenger.

Not all paladin decks run the cards mentioned above. :P
I usually play Combo Druid. I made some adjustments with the TGT, added Darnassus Aspirant and Living Roots. I try to play 2 1/1's on turn 1. It really helps me to clear board. On turn 2 darnassus and if she survives i can drop Shredder and so on... If I can do enough damage, finish them off with the combo, even without any minions on the board. Well, I usually can't play on curve and get rekt. I guess it needs improvements.

I did not make this up, it's just that your autistic and probably new at the game.

Would you please give a link to that video, to show us that you did not make it up?

Brew, maybe sometimes you should google and cek wiki first before talking and keep arrogant attitude. Only mad scientist allow it to have more secret. Kezan will only destrot it. Look for "Hearthstone Mythbuster" or simply cek hearthstone wiki.

http://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/card-discussion/141-how-many-secrets-can-i-have-on-board Noxious states you can have more than 5, and you will not be able to play a secret when you have 5 but you can attain another through kezan.

Nobody cares about your patron warrior, it's not a proper deck, it's broken and will be nerfed any day now.

If you don't want to face Paladins just play Hunter with flare... You will just face dragon priest and control warrior all day!
