Minibot and Muster are the single most core cards in any Paladin deck imo. They can be used in aggro, but in midrange and control you basically don't stand a single chance without them.
If you played control Paladin prior to GvG you will know, the class was basically unplayable without those two cards.
After that I would say you always need at least one board clear, whether Coliseum can stand in for Equality + Conc I'm not sure but I would like to think it can. Equality is such a strong card as a one of but I really think that two of is too greedy. One of Paladin's main weaknesses in midrange and control variants is having a hand full of situational cards you can't use, which is another reason I hope and think Coliseum can replace 1x Equality and 1x Conc.
Dragon wise I guess it remains to be seen but I would imagine that Twilight Guardian is likely to be the single card that bumps Dragon decks up a couple tiers.
Chillmaw I think could be very strong but again, time will tell.
I would always run 2x Consort in Dragon Paladin, the Aspects are probably quite interchangeable but I really think a turn 7 Ysera is as strong as they get.
And my slightly controversial view is that Paladin decks should always run 1x Solemn Vigil. If you plan your use of it so that you can draw it for free, drawing two cards for zero mana is the best card draw in the game. I really don't agree it's too situational because it's pretty easy to kill that number of minions in a turn with Equality and Muster.
Another controversial view is that I don't think Tirion is necessary in Dragon Paladin. It's a great card but not having Dragon synergy means it's just an option imo. It's not like it provides a battlecry with an immediate game swinging effect.
I wonder what you guys think about Aldors and Truesilvers? Can you get away with 1 of each? So far it's been basically blasphemous to suggest so. I'm still planning to run 2x Truesilvers because I think that is justifiable, but I'll be subbing an Aldor for Eadric, especially with cards like Palestress and Varian on the horizon. I don't know if Control will take off like it's promised but if it does then a major theme from TGT seems to be board flooding with large minions.
Still havent got all the cards i wanted for my build, but i can safely say Twilight Guardian is BOSS. After 15 matches i only couldnt get his battlecry off once, and 90% of the time it trades 2 for 1.
That said, the deck as a whole? Not so good, im 6W/9L with it. Of course its not yet complete (running Cromaggus and Nefarian until i get Chillmaw and Ysera, also missing EtC) but theres a big problem thats gonna persist even after i complete it: the only win condition is to outvalue your opponent while surviving the aggression, TGT hasnt fixed this problem for Dragon Pally (actually for Control Pally in general) and its a big one.

As far as I can tell no control deck has gotten a win condition from TGT, so yeah it's an issue most still face. Varian doesn't count either as he's so inconsistent.
Chillmaw is super important though, Kibler for example won out 1/4 games purely due to that card in his Dragon Mage on stream.
Also I run Alex so that your job of winning through gradual value is a lot easier!

By win condition i mean a way to win the game even if you're behind by dealing burst damage out of nowhere, every control deck has that except Paladin and Handlock (lock doesnt need it).
Warrior has Grommash, Druid has FNature+SRoar combo, Freeze Mage has spells, Shaman has Bloodlust/Crackle etc etc. Even Priest has gotten a finisher in TGT in the form of Confuse, though it remains to be seen if its actually any good.
Paladin needs something like this to become a thing, otherwise theres not much incentive to play it over CW imho, the only thing CPaladin has better than CW is AOE removal, thats it.
Yeah I do agree, Paladin is so lacking in that area, but with Alex it makes grinding them out a lot easier despite not having that burst imo, plus against aggro it's a heal.
The Paladin hero power is a pretty good reason to play Control Paladin also, over the long game it is the best there is.
Btw how are you guys finding Eadric? I'm on the fence still.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents since Dragon Paladin is something I have been striving to make work since Blackrock Mountain! This is what I am currently using atm and has been working amazing so far. Granted its the first week and many are still testing out all different types of decks but I started at rank 18 and have gone on a non stop streak to rank 10 with only two losses due to really bad starting hands. Its very similar to others but here it is :)
Depending on how control the meta gets might considering teching in a The Black Knight since I am noticing a lot of people are running a lot of taunt minions. Funny though, I have yet to fight a warrior all of today and yesterday :O
^ I dont see a reason to run Emperor rly, this deck doesnt run any combos so Consort should be all the ramp you need, consider running Sylvanas instead. Also hate Blackhand, way too situational for a deck that already runs a lot of tech cards, but thats a matter of preference i guess, dr. boom would be a better choice imo. Would also replace 1 equality for another Zombie Chow, you need more ways to deal with aggro. Other than that looks really good, just wanted to give my 2 cents.

I ran emp in my previous dragondin deck and kept him in to test the waters. Surprisingly he does very well. With the discount he provides as well as dragon consort it does allow me to sometimes play more answers in a turn then I could have or get really bulky minions out super cheap. His immediate presence is really nice.
Blackhand has done some work, since I have more dragons then I did before being able to play him has worked wonders especially with a lot of legendaries are being played with less then 7 attack. I might sub him out for TBK if I feel like I am not getting much value.
And as for a second zombie chow, I never liked running with 2 unless the meta is pure aggro which its no where near that. I havn't had much issues with agro with mini bot, cog, and twilight guardian. Been having a blast :D
Well after much playing around with Shaman it's amusing to see that this Dragodin deck still puts all of those decks to shame. I know most people are playing Secretadin but this is actually a very consistent, viable deck now.

Curious what your deck build is. Shamans are going 50/50 for me. If they get the ability to swarm totems I have such a hard time clearing and keeping control >.<
Ran out of room for Chows, but here's what I'm currently testing. The Crusher is because Lifecoach is running one in Dragon Warrior and a 4mana 9/9 is pretty fun :p
Since you're running Justicar and Mustard id run 2 QM and 2 Murloc Knight instead of the Blackwing techs, make it more midrangy and less reliant on drawing dragons.
It has been proved that 7 dragons are the least amount needed for any dragon deck to work, so id take out 1 Consort (with 7 dragons 1 is enough) and 1 Drakonid (cool but gimmicky, you'd need another bgh target if you wanna play this i guess) for the 2 Zombie Chow you wanted to include.
I must warn you though, 2 Zombie Chows have been conflicting a lot with my 2 Tuskarr Jousters, so i replaced one for an Argent Protector, a good minion to fight for board control and also protects Murloc Knight. These are my preferences, hope it helped.

is that 7 dragons rule from brm, where you had no dragon synergy dragons, or is it made with tgt decks? imho you need at least one more dragon in tgt than in brm decks since your twilight guardians and your chillmaw can't activate themselves.
I said thats the LEAST amount needed for the deck to WORK, all that means is that if you run 6 or less dragons you wont get enough sinergy between them. If you wanna run more than 7 thats completely fine, its up to personal preference. Since Guardian and Chillmaw are dragons themselves though, i dont think you need to run more dragons just to get their sinergy more often, besides Chillmaw doesnt absolutely need the sinergy to be good, his bluff is enough to bait a silence or mess up your opponents turn by himself.

I'm surprised that nobody mentions Wild Pyromancer as an effective control cleanup...
Seems interesting, will try it out.

^ I like it, let us know how Seal of Champsions works out in control!
Twilight Guardian is a dragon not a beast ;)
Also I'm pretty relieved that Tuskarr Jouster is actually a replacement for Healbot.. I was worried it could be a dud!

Rend is a totally playable card though.
Well I just discovered something that patron warriors might start to run to counter chillmaw...commanding shout :/

Slightly off-topic... Why is it Dragodin and not Palagon? :(
