I am building on 1) opponent's unwillingness to hit Devilsaur and Skelemancer, 2) which allows me to use Steedridge / Blessing of kings / argus / shattered cleric, 3) and also to give mileage to Abomination as this taunt will last longer against aggro (they don't want to bring out a 8/8 or 5/5).
Against aggro, I use cards that are more consistent and can be played on their own without much condition, such as Tar Creeper, Stonehill Defender, Hammer of Wrath, Truesilver Champion, Consecration.
Against midrange, I have pyro + equality, or doomsayer with taunt to clear board. Aldor peacekeeper helps neutralise their midrange threats.
Defend: Chillblade Champion (Charge + lifesteal) with Blessing of kings is also useful to last longer or deal dmg or trade.
Win condition: Cobalt Scalebane, Bonemare and Grimestreet Enforcer with taunts help to secure the game.
Cons: this deck mainly consists of low mana cards but yet it is not an aggro deck. Also, it does not have much removal.
It's currently 10th iteration to reach this deck. This version is winning in casual but seems like the wins are because of opponent skills than my deck alone. Anyone advise on how i can improve this deck? Am i covering too many areas = no win condition? Or conversely, am I missing some effect / spells or minions to make it work?
How would you rate this deck on the overall, when you use this deck?
It's tough, I'm messing with N'zoth paladin right now. There are a lot of silence type effects that can screw you over pretty hard in the meta right now. Mages are running sheep, Druids are running the 4/3 silence, etc.
Skelemancer can be really hit or miss, sometimes it's gold for playing mindgames vs opponents who need to clear your board, but sometimes it's just too slow and its not an answer for board control leaving you dead against rushing decks etc.
I haven't tried Abomination yet but I've thought about it. I'll try it over the next few days.
