one card does not necessary mean that pally will be the best at countering the meta.
Sunkeeper Tarim is a cool card and a great midrage/ control option, but without seeing the rest of the set its hard to say how amazing it will be and what new decks it will fit in to. Eadric the Pure was once seen as amazing value, but sees no play at all these days.
we are not sure how the meta will look like so its very hard to say if control, jade, aggro etc will be on top and that will depend on how good Paladin will be. Beside this card is awful with the buffadin deck as it destroys your handbuff cards...whats the point of making a 10/10 doppleganger and then make it a 3/3 as a force control move, Whats the point of Turing all enemy Jade Golems to 3/3 if they are just going to play bigger threats the turn after, whats the point of Putting Tarim into murloc pally where he does not fit.
Sunkeeper Tarim is a great midrange/ control card with alot of potential to be good, but without Testing it in different decks it is hard to say that paladin will be great due to it. I guess it will fit in a few control decks, but mostly just be a good tech card to deal with a big board.
This card is not meta defining but I know I am going to use it, since I need a replacement for the Keeper of Uldaman.
It's a taunt, that debuffs large minions like Twilight Drake, Mountain Giant, debuffs minions with dangerous ability and lets you chop them down with your weapon or a Silver Hand Recruit, or if you are plauing an aggro paladin deck, protects with taunt your minions, and buffs them on top of it. It can also work pretty well with Finja, the flying star since it buffs the Bluegill Warriors to 3/3s. Some say it works well with Stand Against Darkness [/card]but who would leave those guys alive though? In wild good interraction with [card]Muster for Battle too.
I think this card is quite good, but not as good as the OP thinks it is.
Essentially it continues what Equality always threatened: no matter how small the minions on the Paladin's board are, they are potentially a threat to enemy minions. It is fundamentally different from Eadric the Pure. Eadric is purely a defensive card that allows you to neutralize large attackers, but is completely useless when facing minions you need to actually kill (such as Emperor Thaurissan).
What makes this potentially better in many situations is its Quartermaster-like effect on your 1/1's. If you're running a more midrange Paladin deck (those did exist once upon a time), this is the card a card that lets you buff up your board rather than simply being a reactive tool like Equality or Eadric the Pure.
I can definitely see some uses for him. Since he is only 6 mana you can drop him with another minion(or a couple small ones). Turn 10 you can play him with Wickflame, Sergeant Sally, 2 Bluegills, 2 Argent Squires, 2 Dragon eggs ect ect(im already theory crafting a Small time recruit deck)
I am going to play him. Depends what decks are viable, what quest we get etc. The 3/3 is good because it gives you reach to kill Dangerous minions like Ysera, Ragnaros the Firelord, Emperor Thaurissan etc. Combined with a weapon, or the HP, or other Small minions. Works well with Selfless Hero, Argent Squire etc.
Kazakus is propably not gonna be very relevant since Reno is rotated out. Almost same effect as Eadric the Pure but also affects own minions. If that card is not played then why this would be any better. Jades are just gonna spawn more jades if you use this against them and you will still have board full of 3/3 minions that you most likely can't kill. Not good for control decks and too slow for aggro decks so it's just average at best.
Paladins new Legendary Sunkeeper Tarim It can Absolutely Destroy archetypes.
Absolutely Ruins kazakus Ressurections. Obliterates Jades. Wanna res Something with Nzoth try again (Mwahaha) Etc.
But, this cards Value is insane. Could Paladin go from not seeing play to being a good counter to the meta?
-Those who do not understand true pain, can never understand true peace.-
Eadric was better but never used. So no this card will not see play
Write down exactly what you think Tarim do. Because i am pretty sure you misunderstood something.

No
Simply put....no.
This doesn't wreck N'zoth since its more about resurrecting good deathrattle effects than the bodies and 3/3 is still decent size.
This only wrecks Jade Druid if you wait until he overcommits on board with a bunch very high level jades.
Honestly the best use I see for this is some kind of token deck where you buff your own minions.

This card isn't really good so no lol
A glorious bundle of salt.

Synergizes well on turn 9 with Rallying Blade or turn 10 with Truesilver Champion.
Paladins needed a good 6 drop and this guy is.
Can be followed easily with a Grimestreet Protector.
Can counter a Jade board too, not as good as Eadric the Pure did, for me at least in my Buffadin deck.
Let's you swing the board if you have small tokens on it already. I would say that it also synergizes with the eggs, but Dragon Eggis rotating out.
Edit: Also this is by far the best card art from the new expansion for me. Can't wait to see it in gold
FOR THE HORDE!
no... Oh and to all the people thinking that Tarim is the new god counter to Jade decks; Here's A Rank 25 Award.
The current best way to use Tarin is to buff up your own board of small minions and maybe reduce the power of a opposing minion by a little...
I think this card is quite good, but not as good as the OP thinks it is.

Turn 10 won't happen often though.....
Lmao. Tarim will be lucky to see play. As will paladin as a class.
If Zooladin becomes a thing - Tarim might be played sometimes
LMFAO Are u serious?? Eadric is better and was barely played. Tarim fucking sucks!
