As it's won me a couple of games and helped me in a couple of others just this week I have to share a dark horse minion that I never thought would be worth playing that's actually been useful: Darkspeaker. As it grows in your hand it just lurks waiting to be played. I have used it to save or boost a critical minion already in play; I have also used it to enhance a small minion into a bigger one essentially passing along Charge. Just finished playing a game where I gave a damaged, ready to die Wickerflame Burnbristle 5 Attack and 8 Health. The resulting life gain and damage bought me enough time to win the game.
I only have one in the deck; but so far it's earned its place. Not OP, a tad slow, but certainly decent and worth considering.
Thanks for the tip! I've been trying hard to get ANY hunter or paladin to work. It's hard at rank 15- it's harder at 3. Once I get to legend again, I'll definitely experiment with this :)
Could be really cool. If I happen to unpack Han'Cho and some more of the buff cards I'm missing I think I'll try it out, since I unpacked a Darkspeaker a little while ago.
Currently im using Daring Reporter and while it doesnt necessarily have any special synergy with buffs in-hand, I'm finding that it works really well in my version of the deck.
Cool idea, I will try it but I feel like Leeroy Jenkins should do something similar but better, but I dont have that legendary.
My deck includes Leeroy too. The larger he grows, the more those 1/1 minions you give away seem less significant. Still, there's nothing like surprising someone when that ignored Silver Hand Recruit becomes a threat out of nowhere. Or think of it this way, we all appreciate the value that the 4 mana Blessing of Kings can offer. If your Darkspeaker has been boosted just twice then that puny 1/1 recruit receives a +4/+7 bonus and you also still get an additional 1/1 minion.
Seems really cool but not optimal. I look for oddity cards to mess around with and never thought about him with hand buff decks, definitely have to try. That Wickerflame play must have been ultimate Kreygasm
What snowball effect? It needs to live for two turns to become a 6/6. Having pet cards that worked once in the arena ins't really a reason to include them in constructed and also claim about having 'synergy'.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.

Nice outside the box idea actually.
Unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem of surviving the first 5 turns.
Which kind of deck are you running this in?
There are some interesting possibilities with cards like Silent Knight and taunts

What version of a deck a 4/4 for 4 helps? I mean...why not a Chillwind Yeti?
