After a short pause from the current meta I came back with the goal to find the non anyfin/aggro unicorn paladindeck and started playing my old "Dirty Goons"-deck again @ rank5. I made some changes to help closing games vs Reno / Jade decks and started winning more and more games, reaching rank3 so far.
The deck might looks too slow but Deathwing / Leeroy are great cards to secure wins befor the Jade army or Reno decks are out-valueing us.
I wanted to share my changes with my paladin friends and maybe you have the same fun playing some alternative paladindecks and beating Jade decks with Deathwing and crushing Reno dreams with Dirty Rat. Warriors are still 50-50 but most of the time the taunts / Oozes / Truesilver are good enough to secure a win.
Well, I don't know if it's any good yet but first game against Water Rogue I Dirty Rat/Mind Control Tech'd into his Leeroy Jenkins and stole it. That was rather pleasing.
Ye, those moments are the best and after some time you get a good understanding when to use Dirty Rat. Jade decks struggle after losing some of their battlecries, same goes for control decks. Aggro decks tend to empty their handy after turn 5-6 and most of the time their last card is Leeroy or they can't push face + kill Dirty Rat at the same time.
Dirty Rat / MC is nothing new and was also a scenario with my old decklist :) I hope you can win some games with Deathwing / Grommash ( Shifter Zerus ), or go face and finish it with buffed Leeroy + Ashebringer ^^
How reliable is Shifter Zerus for you? He seems so hit-or-miss, and so far he's mostly just sat in my hand and once gave me an on-curve Infested Wolf which was nice. It is a neat interaction to see the buffs hold over, but I still question him versus a single Second-Rate Bruiser or even a discover card like Grimestreet Informant.
On an unrelated note, a card I'm a little curious to try is Darkspeaker. Not convinced it's good, but it would the minion-equivalent of Blessing of Kings which can sometimes be nice to turn the board.

Ye, Shifter Zerus is the "weakest link" and I am still testing. Once I got Grommash to finish the game and another time a 2nd Deathwing but if I would struggle vs aggro or any other specific metatype I would replace him with Second-Rate Bruiser or something else.
I tried Darkspeaker in a more aggressive deck and it failed. He only works if you are already in control of the board and his stat swap can help trading or works like a charged Argent Horserider if you swap stats with a 1/1 Silver Hand Recruit.
