This is the actual deck for the post titled "is this the best hunter deck!?"
Much better to see the actual deck.
I've been playing it and literally haven't lost. And I even fought some of the best deck out there right now like healadins that I could tell were card-for-card copies of the big known decks.
Yeah, this deck, if not exact, fairly similar, has been around since the UTH buffs. So yeah, it goes alright, hence many people played it, hence it became the meta, then people learned how to play around it, then the warrior rush decks replaced it. So that's a thing, if you like hunter rushing people, go for it.
Very fun deck to play in the lower ranks (sub rank 12), but, with the reset, I can't imagine this deck doing well even before that now that everyone is climbing the ladder.
Keep in mind, it IS a fun deck to play and that's what games are about. I keep this deck in my stash because some days, I just like playing fast games, win or lose.
I wanted to post this here, I have been playing this deck with the following changes:
-1 Leeroy, -1 Arcane Golem
+2 Starving Buzzard.
That means no legendaries, no epics, 5 rares. I would be using Leeroy but I currently don't have the dust to craft him. I put the 2 buzzards in because the card draw is very important, especially with a good UTH combo, and I took out an extra arcane golem because they are absolute crap early game and I was seeing them in my early game hands far too much (where they were pretty much dead cards).
Without Leeroy, I usually need some luck with card draw, and when playing druids, I absolutely need weapon + misdirection trap in the early/mid game area, or I'm pretty much dead.
This deck is absolutely fantastic against all those warlock rush decks though, and most shaman decks.
I know this deck is reviled, but I freakin love it. And even though some people call it "brainless," there is a lot of psychological warfare that goes into playing your traps. Not to mention there are some very creative ways you can win games.
Not to mention the fact that you never have a game that drags on for 20+ minutes drawing into fatigue.
I for one am very happy blizzard made a true zerg-rush option in this game that is viable but not so OP that everyone in the top 100 is playing it.
I'd say this deck is certainly one to think about running if you are running into a lot of murloc zerg decks, if your other hunter decks aren't doing well against it.

It's fun and relatively cheap!
