Seeing as how Hunter is set to be one of the 'Defenders of Dalaran' in the upcoming Rise of Shadows expansion, I'd assume we'll be taking on the role as the Order of the Unseen Path. What do you hope or expect to see for Hunter in the upcoming expansion?
I hope that Shandris Feathermoon will be one of the new Legendaries for Hunter, seeing as how she's been pretty badass in the WoW history and would fit the current theme as a defender against evil. Stealth would also fit the theme for these hunters, so might make up some interesting options.
Aside from new secrets, I'd like to see a tech card that intentionally triggers your own secrets. Think that would shake things up a bit, enable a more aggressive way to use secrets.
They will need reinforcement to hold the place then i thing will have card that summon beasts each turn the minion is in the board or cards with recruit !
I'd say with all the cards that are rotating out we'll see at least one card triggering Deathrattles. Don't know how they'll put it in terms of flavor, but this has been one of Hunter's consistently recurring mechanics.
All that I really want for Hunter is a 1-mana 2/2 that always starts in your opening hand.
I'm tired of Midrange HUnter being defined by whether they can play the first 3 turns on curve. Maybe then we could stop getting overpowered tempo drops who can only exist because the deck is so inconsistent.

Here's hoping Hyena is next on the chopping block.

I feel Rhino is a far bigger problem. hyena can be countered as long as you have removal or taunts, but Rhino is basically game over if you can't remove it immediately. It only gets out of hand if you overextend on the board and don't consider Unleash the Hounds. Other than that it'S one of the few large threats Hunter has access to. Without it Midrange devolves into pure sm0rc, because there's no win condition other than quick beatdown.
I'm honestly surprised how Rhino has stayed around this long given their aversion to charge minions recently.
I think we usually get the same things for hunters:
- a broken aggro early drop
- a secret that makes you want to pry your eyes out (though we still have Wandering Monster for that)
- a cheap overpowered weapon
1 mana 2/3 Dire Mouse, beast (class card, so no power creep)
2 mana secret: when an opponent plays a minion it hits his face twice
2 mana Facebow, weapon: 2/2, deals double damage to face
I think this guy is a genius. (truly, not a sarcasm)
My own thought was fixated on Emeriss, bcs 'Year of the Dragon', but no that is slowest card on earth. Turn 10, play smt that buffs smt on your hand, turn 11 play smt buffed, turn 12 hit smt with it.

Ehh... because they are midrange deck? Lol. If you want to skip first few turn you play controlish midrange. Which is imposoble for hunter now because DK is gone, finally.
Actually Hunter will back like they were. Face is the place deck. Lol

What do you think or hope to see?
Hunter legendary will probably be Vereesa Windrunner.

Gonna go out on a limb and say beast synergies. But seriously...probably a strong secret. A twin spell. A weapon. Who knows. Impossible to predict.
Hunter loses a lot in the rotation, hope for good early game beasts that cost 1/2 mana.
also with koft rotating hunter need some decent late game so spells that summon stuff or generally good spells for zuljin.
I am sure most people are sick of hunter by now though.
Meme legendary, or what do you think Acidmaw, Emeriss, Flark's Boom-Zooka, Knuckles, Gahz'rilla ?

Love the tribes.
The theme seems promising.
Tbh, all classes sided with Dalaran are probably receiving cool thematic cards.
Yet we can't really say anything about archetypes and their actual viability.
A blind bet about Hunter would be either Spell and/or Secret support, with the Twinspell keyword.
Twinspell: (6) cost: summon 2 beasts that cost (4) or less, give them rush.

So that's a small guess I'd make.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Here's hoping Hyena is next on the chopping block.
I hope we'll see some good spells that summon minions, Mech deathrattle minions and innovative secret synergy cards.

Probably some secret support to go with subject 9 and masked contender. A twinspell secret might be interesting.
i think it'll be called Zul'jin...
Zul'Jin is losing most of his potency with spellstone and flanking shot rotating out.
