Kinda figured Keening Banshee is a good card to add if you want to get rid of your cards quickly and with Mecha'Thun, you have the insentive to do just that. What do you guys think? Feel free to suggest any changes, I'm sure there are some new cards that would fit in perfectly. I'm not so sure about double spreading plague because you might not be able to get rid of a board full of 1/5s quickly and the double UI might fatigue you, though I doubt that's a big issue
I'm not sure about UI in this kind of deck. While you'll be able to resolve 1 UI in a game without a problem the second one could be really troublesome, especially if it stays in your hand up to fatigue since then you could just kill yourself by fatigue with it. Also, you can't just leave it be because cthun requires empty hand.
Love the archetype, but I don't really see how you will survive untill T10
Thought about a version with the "turn minions into 2/2 treants and then starfall/spreading plague" combo too. This is just a first draft that I quickly came up with

I agree, whenever I have 2 UIs in deck, one of them just turns out to be unplayable in most match ups but here it could actually mill a lot of cards if you have mecha'thun, innervate and naturalize and give you some protection. It can still probably be replaced with something better though
How about the 4 mana draw a 10 cost minion card? That way you high odds of getting your win condition quickly and then you can mill your deck away.
I'm not keen on the 2 UIs in this deck either. It fills your hand where you actually want less cards in your hand and deck.. Anything that summons from you deck may be good...
I like this idea, I would cut one ultimate or both (I have played other combo decks that had less draw aside from the ultimate than this has, and that still hit bottom of deck very fast when played for full card draw. not sure why someone worried about surviving to turn 10 I have survived longer with fewer tools in druid consistently in the past few weeks. And this si not with a deck that plays minions, I mean a deck equally uninvested in doing actual things until combo (it was an abombination hadronox otk druid, which takes just as long to set up and is riskier I think. Plus this runs spreading plague, which really guaruntees survival well)

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
Yeah Keening Banshee doesn't really work - you could end up removing your mecha'thun or two of your other needed cards for the combo. Also agree that 2 UI's is too many. Finally spreading plague could also be problematic, although it's always a great defense vs aggro you may be stuck with 2 or 3 scarab beetles on the board.
For the last two cards somewhat torn...Bite, Gnash, Claw are options. As is Forest Guide (probably better to draw Golem, so maybe not this minion), Healing Touch, or Starfire.
Wouldn't running Hemet, Jungle Hunter be just faster if you wanted to mill yourself?
You need two cards that cost 1 and 0...so it could work but you'd have to make sure you have one Naturalize and one Innervate. Until you get both he would just sit in your hand.
My idea so far. Using phycic fruit to get c'thun before your banshee turn. Also use biology project & gloop to use a huge mana swing turn that you could possibly burn the rest of your deck and empty your hand . Well that's the plan anyway...

I like the addition Starfall but only having 3 minions is kind of risky against Lich King, you never know. On the Keening Banshee part - you wouldn't say "why add gang up or n'zoth to your mill rogue deck if you're just going to accidentally mill one of them". The Banshee is a combo piece, you don't just put it on the board, though I agree with the oaken summons, it's kind of an issue. But it can be resolved if you just replace oaken summons with poison seeds or starfalls

Getting Keening Banshee through Oaken Summons before drawing Mecha'thun might be a bit risky, otherwise I like the deck.

Oaken Summons cannot possibly pull Keening Banshee.

Sure it can? It doesn't care about about power, it looks at cost and keening banshee qualifies.

I'm excited to try this.
