I play a lot of Hearthstone, but I rarely play the "go-to" meta decks that you see on ladder. I love coming up with new, innovative deck ideas that are seriously ladder-viable and aren't based on silly gimmicks or dream combos. Usually, this involves me trying to breathe life back into cards that you rarely ever see outside of Arena. I'm always looking for new ideas around which to come up with new decks ideas, so I wanted to start a little discussion about your favorite rarely-seen cards, why you think they deserve a second opinion, and what types of decks they can fit into.
For me, I have to give it up for Bomb Lobber. 5 Mana for a 3/3, and a solid chance to remove a small-ish enemy minion. This guy is overflowing with value. There aren't a whole lot of cards that allow you to both reduce your opponent's board presence while simultaneously building your own, and those that do (Mind Control Tech, Blackwing Corruptor, Cabal Shadow Priest, Fire Elemental) either have some prerequisite, or are locked to a class. Bobby McLobber isn't just great in Arena; you can almost certainly find a place for him in any given control or fatigue deck.
My favorite overlooked card is Sword of Justice. It's kind of an odd card to evaluate in a class that already has a lot of other weapons that are less situational, but whenever I play this card in my tempo pally (a version of what many call hybrid pally that doesn't really share enough elements with midrange or aggro to be called hybrid), it provides an immeasurable amount of pressure that the majority of opponents can't ever seem to handle stacked with all the divine shields this deck tends to run. I'm sure it's not optimal, but this card is a staple of a deck that has taken me to rank 5 very recently.
Mine would probably have to be Mindgames usually its bad because you just end up pulling a leper gnome or something but if rngesus is with you and you pull out their ysera on turn 4 its a good chance you just win the game.
Madder Bomber for me. I use 1 in my control decks (Warrior, Hunter atm) for pretty solid value. I am biased though since I just love the gambling aspect of it.
Foe Reaper 4000. Was maybe the first legendary I found on my secondary server. UnBGHable, always has to be dealt with by the opponent first turn he comes into play, otherwise is brutal :D Seriously, not bad of a card and almost never see it in constructed.
My friend once used Lorewalker Cho in his handlock. Pretty simple, he just hid him behind his taunts. You'll be pretty surprised how annoying that actually is, since the last thing you wanna do is feed the handlock with removals as well.
Since then, I grew quite fond of the dear storyteller.

SoJ got a huge buff with GvG and Muster for Battle. I use it in my aggro paladin
For me it would have to be the pandas (Youthful Brewmaster and Ancient Brewmaster). Something about returning near-death minions or powerful battlecries and replaying them again feel magical to me.
If you look closely, you can see this is a signature and not a comment. Why are you reading? Stop reading this. Did you read this too? Dang you must like reading.

Recombobulator for me. Chuck it on an Antique Healbot, strong battlecry minion, or even re-roll a bad Piloted Shredder (Doomsayer)

definitely Mana Addict
Stoneskin Gargoyle. This card has a strange body (I wish it could be 2/4), but its full of potential once buffed.
