Why does Call in the Finishers help complete the Shaman Quest but Protect the King does not help the Warrior Quest? Is it an oversight? I feel that it is a tad unfair to the players. It could be a great card and now it sits just subpar. Anyway. Happy playing all!!!
I think it's because the Shaman quest says summon 10 Murlocs, and Call in the Finishers summons 4 murlocs, whereas the Warrior quest says play 7 taunt minions, play and summon are different terms.
Shaman quest says summon, which pretty much means it activates whenever a minion hits the board
Warrior quest says play, which means it activates when you play a minion from your hand, and since protect the king is only a spell that summons taunt dudes it wont activate the quest

Thats because of warrior quest says: Play, not summon. Warrior quest is harder to do and reward is also bigger.

Just a wording thing. Believe warrior quest is play, while shaman is summon.
Just serves each quest function better. Shaman is more tuned to be aggressive, warrior to be controlling, then get an overwhelming hero power.
Thanks all. I understand the cards and quest wording just a bummer. And I can see how thats OP. Appreciate the feedback
