I was looking into crafting Elise the Trailblazer and noticed this: she is an Odd card at 5-mana, but inserts an Even 2-mana Un'Goro Pack into your deck. That made me wonder if Even/Odd becomes viable to control decks in the next meta, Elise is going to disappear.
While this won't affect Baku the Mooneater effect at the start of the game (as far as we know), it could disrupt Even/Odd reliant battlecries and such on other cards, like Priest's Glitter Moth. It would be like throwing a duplicate into your own Reno Jackson deck, only you have a lot more cards with that restriction instead of one to three.
Which on a side note, if Even/Odd does become a thing, Psychic Scream just went up in value, as it would disrupt the mechanic if the wrong card goes flying into the victim's deck.
Also, for WIld players, Elise Starseeker can be run in Even decks (4-mana drops a 2-mana spell into deck followed by a 4-mana Golden Monkey).
On a similar note, don't know what Prince Malchezaar will do for Baku at the start, but for other odd-relying cards, not good.
it could, but we are not certain that odd/even decks will be playable, warrior and priest and maybe druid can play those decks, but that doesnt mean other priest's decks or any other deck cant play Elise, WW may play a role of killing Elise if she will die in the future. ( IF )
Although Psychic Scream is seemingly getting buffed, keep in mind priest is getting toasted on this rotation and unless priest is getting some seriously powerful cards, it is very likely you won’t see any priests.
I love that you'd rather berate someone for not knowing something, instead of passing on information to make us all more aware.
OP the new even and odd leg. (Both) will activate as Prince Mal does and activate at the beginning of the game. No need to draw these essential deck build-around cards.
She meant that even though the effects from Baku the Mooneater would occur at the start of the game, sending an Un'Goro Pack in would affect the "only odd-cost" effects of other cards such as Glitter Moth.

The only class that plays elise would rather play elise at endgame to ensure shadow visions value. It's a non-issue.
It’s the start of the game. Effect would be in place before her battlecry.
Dude are you seriously saying this? You're not joking right? I hope you realise your mistake.
