I was looking around for some advice for crafting legendaries once Ungoro releases. I'm a mostly f2p player (although I did splurge on the preorder) and since I joined several months back, my card collection is a little underwhelming.
That being said, I did manage to accumulate some luck and dust and because of advice I've read here an there, ended up with Rag and Sylv, who are both cycling out this release.
So I was wondering, does anyone have advice for crafting legendaries given the coming changes? I don't currently have much dust, but once I get it back from the hall of fame cards I should have enough to craft 3.
I was thinking about Ysera maybe, but I also like N'Zoth (and it sounds like he might be good in the coming meta). I also considered Patches for some fun wild combos that are coming up with this new release, Aya because one of my favorite decks to play recently was a Jade shaman, or maybe should I save the dust to craft some Ungoro legendaries or quests?
(I should probably mention that I'm not very competitive and my current highest rank is abysmally bad, but I'd like to sometimes try climbing ladder, and I also like Wild a lot despite lacking all the Naxxramas cards, GvG, and 90% of the grand tournament.)
Hello! I would suggest that if you wanted to win games that you should craft as much of a jade druid or pirate warrior deck as you can, because it seems like neither of those decks are going to be leaving standard any time soon. If you just want to play for fun I would suggest some of the more obscure quests like the mage one or the rogue one because it offers you much more deck design freedom and would allow you to have some fun while trying to gain ranks with your deck design.
If the goal is being competitive - wait for the release, then wait a few weeks for the meta to settle, and then craft what you need.
As far as Wild goes, N'Zoth, the Corruptor will always be good. In Standard it will only be played if Deathrattle Priest or Hunter work. Ysera will always be good in Wild as well. During the next Standard cycle however, it's unlikely that she will see a lot of play. Aya Blackpaw on the other hand will be played if Jades are played, which is almost certainly.

I'd appreciate any advice :D

Always Hunters. Always Huffers.

Generally Bloodmage Thalnos, Finja, the Flying Star, Harrison Jones, Leeroy Jenkins, Cairne Bloodhoof, The Black Knight, Baron Geddon, Alexstrasza and Deathwing are safe choices.
Particularly Alexstrasza always finds a home in some stupid deck. This time around it will be with Open the Waygate.
