I'd like some assistance figuring out which cards to craft. I don't normally have a lot of dust, so crafting specific cards tend to be a very difficult decision for me. ;)
I am sitting on 5k dust. My first thought is crafting Patches the Pirate and playing Pirate Warrior. It's just that Warrior isn't normally my character/deck of choice, plus Blizzard may continue to try to nerf this deck to reduce its supposed dominance, and I would hate to craft something that becomes useless. However, I do have most other cards that go in this deck, so it wouldn't be very expensive.
My second thought was crafting The Caverns Below. I played the version Blizzard gave us in Tavern Brawl, and it was fun, but could be very inconsistent. I would need Patches, and another Preparation, and I would have the deck pretty much.
My third thought is crafting cards that can be used in a variety of decks, as I like playing a bunch of different archetypes. These cards fit in a number of decks: Primordial Drake and N'Zoth, the Corruptor. N'zoth is especially appealing... N'zoth Priest is very cool, with or without the quest (although I am considering that too), as is N'zoth in Druid and Warlock decks. I worry about crafting cards that will go out of standard "soon", but I think I like Wild better anyway.
I would recommend crafting Classic cards rather than expansion cards. I never have much dust stored up either, and managed to squander my Sylvanas and Ragnaros payouts. (Sorry if I'm the "wrong about rotation" guy, but) Patches and N'Zoth will both be in wild in a year, and I'll guess it will be a fair bit of that year before you've gathered enough dust to get another legendary.
Focus on Classic cards. Focus on classes and decks you enjoy playing. Don't be me.
Thanks for the feedback skwrl37. I agree, and did exactly that (focus on classic cards) when I initially played Hearthstone a long time ago (I quit for a long time as well, and just recently came back, which is why I tend to like Wild more).
I had crafted, funny enough, Sylvanas and Ragnaros, and used them almost everywhere. Having them rotated out is what gave me the large amount of dust to play with.
I try to go for cards that will see use in a variety of decks (hence why I am leaning towards N'zoth) - but like you said, sticking to cards that will stay in rotations is a smart idea.

The deck here looks pretty cool - I just need the Dragonfire Potions, Dirty Rat and Shadow Visions:

I appreciate any help/suggestions. Thanks!
