So I built and have been testing an Elemental N'Zoth deck (deck is up if interested). I came across this interaction and surprised me. We were dragging the game out so I selected Anomalus from Servant of Kalimos (for science, you see). I had Cairne Bloodhoof, Baine Bloodhoof & Spiritsinger Umbra in play, I attacked with both Bloodhoofs and then played Anomalus. Anomalus hit the board the deathrattle triggered from Spiritsinger, which I thought, would clear Anomalus and the board leaving me with only a Baine Bloodhoof on the board. Only thing was is that Anomalus triggered again from its intended deathrattle and cleared the Blaine. I have never come across this interaction, so needless to say I was confused at first especially with the same tag on both.
This is actually correct because the deathrattle triggere by umbra kills Anomalus, then it will trigger again like normal cause he is killed. Since you played the Cairne before the Anomalus his rattle will trigger before the second rattle of Anomalus!
So its deathrattle triggered twice leaving nothing on the board?
Out of interest did Anomalus kill itself?
Yes. I think this must have been what happened. Umbra triggered, which cleared the board, including Anomalus himself. Then Anomalus's deathrattle activated, clearing the board a second time.

How could you not predict that this would happen? Maybe it's because I used to play magic but I don't suffer confusion around the rules in this game. They do what they say and no epic play has ever been confusing to the point like a massive stack in magic. I watched Thijns playing his OTK inner Fire priest and he's questioning a play wondering if Wild Pyro will clear his board, I'm just thinking "yes, obviously it will" (confusion stemming from the keyword "after") and then the sumbitch does the play, clears his board and all I can do is palm my forehead

I am not a Mage player, just thought my avatar would go with my name.

Check out my homebrewn Paladin deck.

But, Anomalus killed Baine twice. I think that this is false, right? There was only one Baine on the field, not two.EDIT: Nvm, there was a Baine already on the field. :)
That is correct
FOR SCIENCE!
