Can I ask everyone (as I see it in almost every deck) - is this primarily in decks to counter pirate warrior? Or do people like it for the stats or just to combat weapons in general?
Reason I ask is that I have 800 dust left after my last bunch of crafts and I'm considering getting one, but with a new expansion around the corner I'm trying to weigh up the worth of it.
to add more confusion here I'm the type of player that still would love quest warlock to work so maybe I'm just weird!
There are a bunch of weapons in the viable decks. Pirate warrior, quest warrior, Shaman, Hunter and even Priest and mage have Atiesh. And gluttenous ooze is the better choice against aggro, because it gives you armor on top.
However, I wouldn't craft it if you need dust, since you always can use Acidic Swamp Ooze for the main purpose, which is to destroy weapons. The armor is surely not bad and it might give you occasionally the edge you need to win, but overall I think the "ordinary" ooze is not much worse.
Mainly I use it to counter Tirion and Medivh, but also great against pirate warrior. 1 copy is more than enough, so don't even think about crafting 2.
Choice of "weapon breaker" depends on the class you play. I play warlock and I find armor gain quite handy. Some classes that might struggle with card draw, but are good at healing themselves, say priest or warrior, might prefer Harrison.
Thanks for all the comments team - curveball for you. I play Priest, Shaman, and Paladin mainly - what about Faceless Shambler for some extra buffed walls? That vs ooze?
Of those classes. Only priest (silence priest) plays Faceless Shambler.
Ooze fits into more decks. However the expansion is close. Save your dust - in 4 weeks you are going to want 800 dust and more to craft all the shiny new cards.

Thanks for the reply, I have enough dust to craft two of these guys just wondering if it's worth it - 800 dust I could craft two epics,
Since this seems like a popular epic I figured I'd ask,
thanks though!
