All cards below will be disenchanted at full crafting cost once the changes go live. If you're planning on disenchanting 2 of each of these cards, you'll get up with 4360 arcane dust! Epics are worth 400 dust, rares are worth 100, and commons will be worth 40.
so is this means that golden knife juggler is worth 800 dust disenchanting. Thats insane
Good call, and it's even more than 3x ... commons you're getting 40 dust instead of 5! So if you have a x9+ stock of owls and leper gnomes (as many do), you are getting an 8x return on commons in dust for your patience! Value!
And here I am crying after disenchanting 1000 worth of dust to binge-craft Edwin Van Cleef a few days ago. I had like 3-4 each of the newly-nerfed commons :(
Sorry for the dumb questions as this is my first nerf.
So, if I don't disenchant the nerfed cards, they'll still be there, but in nerfed form right? Will my golden versions remain golden nerfed versions? If I do disenchant them all, then obviously I'll need to recraft them, or wait to open them in packs right?
It changes the attributes of the card to a new state. The old state will be gone forever, meaning only the "nerfed" version exist, regardless of it being golden or not.
Every card that gets nerfed/buffed will have their disenchant dust amount set to be equivalent to the normal crafting cost. That means if you spent 400 dust to craft an epic card, you will receive 400 dust from that nerfed/buffed card once you disenchant it during the small timeframe where this is possible.
If you do not disenchant anything, the cards will be there in its new (and now nerfed) form. This is regardless of them being gold or not. Once the patch hits, your cards will be nerfed and there is no way around that. If you disenchant these cards, you will need to recraft them or win them through chest/arena/pack rewards, yes. The benefit is that the amount of dust you get to disenchanting these cards will be the same to the future crafting cost of that very same card (or any other card you want).
Don't forget to finish the murloc and pirate achievements before the patch if you haven't done it already. I just got Old Murk-Eye for 400 dust by crafting the Murloc Warleader instead of the 1600 you will need after the patch!
I am dusting both of my golden Molten Giants for a gold Yogg: because Why not?? On that end, will the mass disenchant get the full value or will I have to do them separately?
i had 4 golden rares of the nerfed cards and got 3200 even if the card is still useful id recommend you do it cause you can allways find it again with a pack or craft the non gold version

Yeah but is it a good idea to disenchant those?
I'm a catbug!

There isn't anything to lose if you disenchant it. You gain back 100% of the dust anyways so you might as well do it.

The nerf does two things:
If you do not disenchant anything, the cards will be there in its new (and now nerfed) form. This is regardless of them being gold or not. Once the patch hits, your cards will be nerfed and there is no way around that. If you disenchant these cards, you will need to recraft them or win them through chest/arena/pack rewards, yes. Thanks, I understand now.
All the nerf cards are 5560 dust for me, thanks Blizzard for Golden Big Game Hunter.

Throw in all the other regular + goldens, and this nerf earned my EU account a cool 14k dust!
My golden Ancient of Lore from rank chest will become the Fandral.
My golden Molten Giant will become Hallazeal.
Hopefully I get a golden BGH, AoL, or Molten this season.
