Yes, he reached ranked 1 legend 3 days into the new the season and used this deck to climb.

ragnaros is great too i didn't have sylvans or cairine so i put in kt and rag
This deck is fucking terrible against control. I can see it was made to combat the nonstop hunters and zoo, but against any type of strong control at all, you have no chance into the late game, and have very few answers.
first time playing with priest, and this deck is actually really fun to play!
thank you very much:)
this deck is surprisingly good. very versatile. can play sorta aggro with a good undertaker start and can compete with control decks as well
Currently using Kel'Thuzad in place of Baron Rivendare. He can be quite effective when used with a bunch of other death rattle minions, and I've seen more opportunities to use him than the Baron.
Priest is the new hunter. Tell yourself its not as you pile up the incredible win streaks. How can this deck be beat? Over 60% of my matches are against this deck or a variation of it.
I still haven't lost with this deck from 18-14. it's great, and it's really fun to pull off some of the crazy baron combos.
I did take out argus for another SW:D though, argus is too weak by himself anymore so I hate playing him in anything that isn't rush.
Since trying this deck out and playing around 50~ ranked matches with it. I've gone from rank 17 to 6 with ease.
The changes I did were:
replacing Cairne Bloodhoof with Sunwalker - I cannot count the number of times that has saved me. Divine shield + Taunt in my opinion outweighs having two 4/5's
replacing 1 Thoughtsteal with a Faceless Manipulator (or alternatively a Shadow Madness) - Since this deck has so many minions, I always favor bringing out another minion and keeping board control. I'd often find myself keeping a thoughtsteal in my hand for quite a while. So I couldn't justify having 2.
replacing 1 Cabal Shadow Priest with Kel'Thuzad - KT is arguably the best legendary in the game. He synergies perfectly with the army you've likely amassed by the time late game comes around, if you favor board control as any good priest does. For 2 more mana than a secondary Cabal shadow priest, I think he's more than worth it.
All these changes were superb advice. Kel'Thuzad has won me the game so many times it's not even funny. Kel'Thuzad + Sludge Belcher makes for insane survivability.
I also switched out the other Thoughtsteal for a Shadow Madness because I felt that Thoughtsteal really slowed down the tempo of the deck and usually provided crap returns. And this is coming from someone who thinks Thoughtsteal is a staple of priest. It was sad removing them, but I'm much happier with the results.
Really difficult deck to play in my opinion. Watching Zetalot it seems easy, but its anything but when you doing it yourself. I think this deck is for better skilled players.
Don't get me wrong I think this deck is Amazing !! Just not a pick and and play deck
This deck seems intimidating, but once you learn the tempo (tooke me 3 or 4 games) it's pretty easy.
One piece of advice:
It's extremely important to mulligan for that Undertaker, Zombie Chow & Dark Cultist. I've lost games just because I really wanted to hold that Auchenai Soulpriest + Circle of Healing combo.
The best, easily repeatable, plays for me have been:
T1 - Undertaker + The Coin + Zombie Chow
T2 - Loot Hoarder (now you can swing for 5 on turn 2)
T3 - Dark Cultist
On a tear with this deck atm. I never played priest, but now I am sold. Synergy is really good, well done.
Tear is over - hit a brick wall when you are dealing with agro. VERY tough to keep momentum.
EDIT: Tried a few alterations to the deck, but it's obvious that if you are not at that legendary level, this deck sees way too much agro to be viable. I even tried some of Metal's changes, and it sucks pond water. Ditching it for good.
For Aggro it is important to get Zombie Chow or / and Undertaker + Loot Hoarder in the first two rounds. Then you can keep up with them and they most likely cancel out of the game.
How is it possible with this deck to handle early rush and aggro type? Someone teach me pls.
It's always a waiting game, waiting for that perfect Auchenai Soulpriest + Circle of Healing combo to clear the board. But by then, probably with only 1/2HP left and nothing else to play for.
I play a deck similar to this and I mulligan for undertaker and any deathrattle minions. The zombie chows buff the undertaker and trade really well with early zoolock and hunter minions. Also blademaster is a huge body on turn 3 if you have circle of healing and no soulpriest to save it for.
I use a variant of this. - 1 Cabal Shadow Priest + 1Shadow Madness
Im not having any luck with this deck whatsoever, 1 holy nova, 1 death... thats my problem cuz i LOVE Them, they're too good to pass up on and having only 1 of each makes the draw for them superlow and its lost me many games vs rushy decks :/
just saw this guy reaching a rank #1 legend on EU, epic game
and i just lost 0-3 around rank 15 with this deck(i really have good mulligan). i guess i still need to practice
Hi,
Just one question : How do you play [card]Zombie Chow [/card]?
First turn it's a good card but after if you don't have [card]Auchenai Soulpriest[/card] it's 5 PV you offer
