This is my Naxxramus deathrattle gimmick deck. It contains only cards that have Deathrattle or interact with deathrattle in a meaningful way. I used the Warlock class due to the sub-par card draw that is otherwise available to you when you go with this many deathrattle cards and also due to the combo potential of power overwhelming and void terror when dealing with deathrattle cards. Since this deck is mostly neutral you could translate it to other classes, though you are likely to run into problems in terms of hero power synergy but more importantly, lack of card draw. Some of it is interchangeable. There are more deathrattle cards in the game than I have featured here, I simply picked ones that I felt would fit best. You could easily remove Deathwing from this deck, here's mostly just there for fun. Wailing Soul would be good in this deck if played correctly due to the number of cards which have negative deathrattles, though it would take away the primary advantage of the Deathlord, that being the taunt too. Thalnos would add a bit more draw, though since you have no direct damage spells he's not going to be too useful otherwise. A mage variant using mad scientists a couple of secrets could be helpful too.
Key combos:
Power overwhelming + Egg + Void Terror
Baron Rivendare + pretty much anything
Feugen + Stalagg + Void Terror and/or Power Overwhelming
Abomination + Egg
Regardless it's a fairly fun deck. So far I've taken it up to Rank 14 without too many problems. It's a fun gimmick with some room for customization.
another fine deck by TB, Now i dont own Sylvanas, so i replaced her with The Black Knight for a bit of taunt removal. i know hes a 4/5 for 6 but he can get rid of a sticky taunt. i was also running Lotheb before i crafted cairne tonight.
i also dont know if this would work but how about putting a faceless Minipulator in just to copy barron rivendare for x4 deathrattles. just an idea
Been trying out this deck for a good while now and it's extremely fun. Definitely one of the better Deathrattle builds. What's even cooler is that Dethklok reference!
Don't have Deathwing, Cairne Bloodhoof, or Sylvannas Windrunner, so I just threw in two Soulfire because it seemed like the best option to me, I'm still running 2 Zombie Chow but I might replace that with a Twisting Nether.
in video #2 Deathwing kept coming out just a little late, have you thought about using Twisting Nether?
Also, Deathlord is a trap in constructed, any minion it summons is one that the player wants to be there
ive made my own variation of this that, in my opinion, seems to be much more stable, and at the same time offering many more combos with voidcallers, if anyone is interested, this deck got me to rank 5 this season, http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/97764-deathrattle-demons
I hope he plays some more of this, it was really fun to watch. he usually does two videos per gimmick lately so there's hope. I wish he'd go back to streaming Hearthstone once in a while, that was always enjoyable.
Sadly, I don't own Deathwing, Cairne Bloodhoof, or Sylvanas Windrunner. What would some good replacements be?
Maybe 2x Voidcaller with 1x Doomguard, and just try to never play voidcaller without doomguard in your hand. If you don't have doomguard, maybe a dread infernal (basically a big demon minion)
I added Rag, Sea Giant and Faceless. I may have to remove the Deathlords and thinking about doing the same with zombie chow. I need to do more testing.
I put LORD JARAXXIS in place of Deathwing. OBLIVION!!!
I made this same deck, and wanted to stick to the gimmick. My differences were that I put a Doomsayer in there (pops all deathrattles if he survives a turn), an Unstable Ghoul for some minor taunt, and the second Zombie Chow. That second chow isn't very useful all the time, but if RNGesus blesses you and you get him early, then he trades well.
