Hello guys, my name is Rami, im an argentinian 22 year old guy who plays this game just for fun almost every day.

Sorry if my english is not that good. Also, this is my first guide so i don't even know how to post pictures yet. Therefore, any feedback will be very welcomed! I would love to see any suggestion about the post itself, and also the changes that you could make to improve the deck.

Edit 11-27:  We made it to the deck of the week, thanks guys! :)

Edit 11-29: Added a few card explanations and replacements to deal with the worst matchup right now, Priest.

Based on what i just saw at HSReplay, there is a HUGE winrate difference between those who play the old version and the new one with second blood to ichor and spellbreaker. Try to always keep Blood to Ichor in your starting hand, that card seems to be doing wonders against Rogue

OK, lets start with the proof:

note: tried to upload the pic several times and nothing works... any help here?

EDIT: STILL DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT... PLEASE GUYS!
I have a lot of pics about matchups and winrates that i also want to upload, and I just cant figure out how to do it.

0. Why warrior?

One of the main reasons is because I was just tired of allways playing with/ against the same 5 classes: Rogue, Mage, Priest, Druid and Warlock. Some people also go with Hunter, Shaman and Paladin. Poor Garrosh, he deserves some love too!

Also, there are some strong cards in warrior that makes this archetype viable, but we will talk about that later.

Finally, I think that the surprise factor helps a lot, because people don't know how to play against this deck... at least for now!

1. Play style

It depends a lot on the matchup, generally your goal is to take control of the board during the early game and snowball with cards like Frothing Berserker and the pirate package.

Just like any other tempo deck, your win condition is your board. It doesnt matter if you are at 30 hp or at 10: the moment your opponent takes control of the board, you lost.

There are some cards that helps to retake the board, but your chances to win after turn 10 are pretty low because you have no card draw at all.

Although, there is also a lot of burst potential with the DK and Grommash Hellscream to steal some wins from games that seems lost already.

2. Card choices

Blood To Ichor: Im even considering adding a second copy of this card to the deck. It helps you to trade with your Rusty Hook during the early game and also triggers your Grommash Hellscream. It also sinergyses well with Frothing Berserker and Bloodhoof Brave.
Edit: second copy added, and its one of the best performing cards in the deck.

Fiery War Axe: Fiery Win axe??? after the nerf? Yes please. this card kills Southsea Captain and SI:7 Agent at turn 3.

Ravaging Ghoul: Your opponent didnt kill your Frothing Berserker? BOOM! 13 damage to the face. It also clears some annoying pirates and shows who is in charge.

Pirate pack: why shouldnt I play this, now that almost no one plays the crab?

Prince Keleseth, Saronite Chain Gang, Cobalt ScalebaneBonemare and Cairne Bloodhoof: Just meta stuff... everyone knows that these cards work even in priest now.

The Lich King: Late game option for topdeck mode.

Kor'kron Elite: great card for snowball and going face. I almost never play it early in the game

Spellbreaker: this is a great card in this meta, and replaces one of the Bloodhoofs. My thanks to Atramentar, who came up with this change!

Fire Fly: Best one drop in the game.

Tar Creeper: Great card against aggro decks, yet bad against priest and other slow decks like quest mage. This is just a tech card and must be replaced if necessary.

3. Mulligan guide

Always keep:

Going first: Fire FlyN'Zoth's First MatePrince Keleseth and Southsea Captain

Going second: Fire FlyN'Zoth's First MateBlood To Ichor, Prince KelesethFrothing Berserker and Southsea Captain

By class:

Druid: if you think its aggro, keep Fire FlyN'Zoth's First Mate and Blood To Ichor. If you have those cards, consider keeping Ravaging Ghoul and Tar Creeper.

Against jade/ big druid, mulligan hard for Prince Keleseth and Frothing Berserker (going second). You can also keep Fire Fly OR N'Zoth's First Mate. If your hand is good, consider keeping Bonemare or Cairne Bloodhoof too.

Hunter: keep Blood To Ichor and Ravaging Ghoul, also Tar Creeper. If you have Fire Fly, never keep N'Zoth's First Mate, because of the crabs.

Mage: Fiery War Axe is great against all the early minions from mage. If its quest mage, keep the same cards as against jade druid.

Paladin: same as aggro druid.

Priest: Same as jade druid. Dont keep any anti aggro tool, if your hand is good, you can keep Cobalt Scalebane or Cairne Bloodhoof.

Rogue: same as aggro druid. Keep Fiery War Axe too, to kill their 3 drops.

Shaman: Always keep Blood To Ichor, Ravaging Ghoul and, if you go second, Frothing Berserker. Dont keep Tar Creeper

Warlock: Same as Rogue. Here is also key to get Tar Creeper

Warrior: ANOTHER WARRIOR!?! that never happened to me so far. Maybe with your help in a few days we will have something to write here :)

4. Card replacements

There are about 22 core cards in this deck, which I think that souldnt be removed:

Class cards:

Blood To Ichor, N'Zoth's First Mate, Frothing Berserker, Ravaging Ghoul, Kor'kron Elite, Grommash Hellscream and Scourgelord Garrosh

Neutral cards:

Fire Fly, Patches the Pirate, Prince Keleseth, Southsea Captain, Cobalt Scalebane and Bonemare

Tech cards against the Priest meta:

Tar Creeper: Great against aggro, not so good against priest. Replace one copy of it with Deathspeaker or Vicious Fledgling, in order to have a better chance to snowball.

(Any better idea would be welcomed. Already tried Grimy Gadgeteer, doesnt work for me)

Saronite Chain Gang: Replace a copy of it with Bittertide Hydra

Possible changes for the most expensive cards:

Cairne Bloodhoof: this card is great in this deck, but if you dont have it, dont craft it this close to a new expansion! There are no good 6 mana minions for that slot, maybe The Black Knight. So try playing Bittertide Hydra or Direhorn Hatchling. Another cheap option would be Sunwalker, which is clearly worse than Cairne but has the same role.

Scourgelord Garrosh: this is not a cheap deck guys, Im sorry! this card must not be replaced, otherwise the consistency of this deck will fall a lot. BTW: this is such a fun card to play... craft it guys, totally worth it!

Grommash Hellscream: first of all, Leeroy Jenkins is NOT  a good replacement of this card. Gromm gives you a great body and sometimes playing it without having lethal is the best option. Leeroy is a situational card which might get stuck in your hand the whole game. Try playing any other late game threat like Ysera

The Lich King: Same as Gromm. Try another late game option. If your meta is full of aggro, try second Fiery War Axe instead.

Patches the Pirate and Prince Keleseth: sorry guys, these cards are the core of the deck, and the whole meta right now.

Deathspeaker: this is a great, cheap replacement if you dont have a second copy of Southsea Captain

Skulking Geist: this card does not belong to this deck! you are fighting for tempo, and playing this turn 6 against rogue might insta-lose the game. Your goal against druid is to win before they can catch up. You just cant win late game against them, and burning their jade idols doesnt matter at that point.

Acolyte of Pain: Not worth it in my opinion. This deck has a great curve, you wont run out of steam before turn 9-10, so there is no need to play any card draw.

Im reading all the comments, if there is any other card suggestion i will write about them later.
