Yes, you can use Gnomeferatu to remove your opponent's cards.

But where there are those who fear gnomes, everybody fears death -- and the Lord of Death himself is here to play.

Play Awaken the Makers turn 1; continue to mulligan each turn for Shadow Word: Pain, Shadow Word: Horror, and Pint-Sized Potion to remove minions that play a key part in your opponent's Brawl deck. The latter two combined can remove all minions of 5 or less attack.

Utilize the Deathlords freely and let them die -- for when they do, your opponent loses a minion from his/her deck. Use Skulking Geist as soon as possible (i.e. the damned Jades) and save Shadowreaper Anduin for massive setups such as, for example, a company of Shadow Ascendants. Once you've played the Geist, it removes 2 spells from your deck and makes mulliganing for ideal cards even easier.

Lastly, Entomb does the same thing as Deathlord but in reverse -- you steal a minion from their side and add it to your eternal deck. That is, it joins the rotation in the mulligan.

Oops, I forgot to mention N'Zoth, the Corruptor. He will give you immediate board control that's very difficult to remove and complete the quest, giving you 40 health security with Amara. If you still haven't played the Geist yet and don't need to, play Awaken the Makers again to get Amara again.

The Lord of Death awaits you in his hall.
