Hi everybody and thanks for tuning in!
I just reached rank five today (Oct. 13) with Elemental Shaman starting at rank 15, with a win/loss of 30/4. Because of this unholy score, I had to share the deck with you.
Between rank 10 and 5, I had zero losses
To play this deck, you need to optimize your plays. If the opponent has no minions on board on his turn 2, consider using your hero power to discount Thing from Below over playing Jade Claws, which will slow down your next turn and keep your Thing from Below at 6 mana.
Your Ancestral Spirits preferably go on Earth Elemental, and this works really nicely. Beware of silences.
When playing this deck, you will notice that you're unconsciously swarming the board with big stuff, keeping your opponents board clear. This deck does this naturally, and that's where the power is.
I will gladly write a large guide if people want one!
Deck Showcase by: KiwiinBacon.
He didn't have the second Earth Elemental in his collection, which he substited by a devolve in this showcase. Thanks for the video!
Other showcase (full deck) by KadakHS:
Not everyone can get 80%+ WR with this, thank goodness. I saw one other guy in the comments who got a similar record as I after familiarizing, but if everyone would be able to get that record we'd be in outrage.
do you think you could squeeze a white eyes in this deck? seems like it would be nice as a one off, also nice with ancestral spirit?
If you really want to get a White Eyes in the deck, replace an Earth Elemental. I however don't recommend it, because it's sadly not an elemental itself.
Good to know that you are doing well with elemental shaman it's one of my favorite decks (crafted kalimos day 1)
Isn't there any KFT card that could fit the deck? I tried to build it several times, never really managed to fit any maybe except.. the shaman hero? is he good on the deck (many jades to evolve and small elementals also the servants are good value to evolve, no?
Pretty funny how I unconsciously didn't put any KFT cards in. I just took a look at the KFT cards, and I got to say there's indeed not a single KFT card I would put in this archetype.
See, you cóuld put in the Deathknight, but I don't think the deck swarms enough for its justification. If you want to experiment, I don't think it's a bad inclusion - I just think there are better options than what KFT offers for Elemental Shaman.
This is a really nice Shamen-Deck (and its not a "meta" deck). At the start I had some problems with it but after some games I figured out, how to play it (ca. 20/5; 80% winrate). I made some changes like bloodlost and devolve instead of Ancestral Spirit. Ty man for that nice Elemental Deck!
Good to hear man! Did you take out both Ancestral Spirits?
Glad you like the deck!
Yeah I took out both of them because they just didnt work for me. (2x devolve instead of 2 Spirits and 1x Bloodlust instead of 1 Earth-Elemental)
I think this deck looks great, all though i think Spirit Echoes is a better fit for this deck. Insane value with the Jade counter. Aya and Jade Spirit f.ex :) Will tty out! Thanks!
I am trying to make a similar list work. Basically is the same concept, plus 2xevolve and Thrall. What do you think about the idea? Use the powerfull elemental battelcry, and then evolve them... I also use the 7 mana 4-4 that summonthe 2 taunts for that purpose...
It is very subjective on whether he got the win streak / high win rate, i attained a 100% win rate from rank 17 to rank 6 last season with evolve shaman, i had some good rng helping me in close games and favoured matchups.
Also the current standard evolve shaman do decently against aggro due to Maelstrom Portal , Jade Claws, Jade Lightning , which this deck has and this even has Lightning Storm and Tar Creeper . Thus i feel that this is solid enough if u mulligan for the right things when facing aggro. Fire Fly's an awesome tempo card too.
directly copied, 0-7 between R9 and R10 in Asia server.

Do you have recordings of your games (hsreplay)? I would like to see some if that's possible, to see what went wrong for you there or if it's mostly the deck's fault.
Honestly, unless you have a bad draw or the hunter/ rogue have a nice curve, you have a advantage over them and u shouldn't go 0-4 against them. Pardon me for saying this, the sample size is small and this deck isn't a brain dead deck, you need experience in playing against the different match ups which you lack since u just started trying it.
If i played unwell, please let me know :). ty

I just checked all of your games, and you did misplay in most of them. In many cases they weren't big mistakes, but costly nonetheless. When watching, I disabled the function to see the opponents cards, so let me tell you what I'd have done in your shoes.
Game 1:
You kept Thing from Below in your hand for a long time, didn't even play it (You played Hotspring Guardian instead).
Hotspring was valuetraded with the Houndmaster he had on board, while Thing From Below would have traded with both minions.
Game 2:
On turn 4, you should have picked Hallazeal from Servant of Kalimos instead of Jade Spirit, because you were on the defending side with AoE in your hands. However, even if you would have done this, this match was unwinnable due to the Rogue's hand.
Game 3:
On turn 3 you could have built a board if you just killed the huffer with your equipped weapon, instead of trading it with a minion and use Maelstrom portal. This way, you could have discounted your future Thing From below as well by using your Hero Power instead.
Game 4:
You are against a tempodeck (Rogue) who is already ahead on board. On turn 5, you should have played Thing from Below instead of Mana Tide Totem + Hero Power. I understand why you did it, because that way next turn you could play both, but I think it's a misplay because you that was a very passive turn against a tempodeck.
Game 5:
On turn 2, the board was completely empty. I usually prefer to use my Hero Power to not be overloaded next turn, and discount my Thing from Belows. It's not a big misplay at all, but it's usually a bit better I found.
I would also have used my lightning storm 1 turn earlier, but that's very debatable and your play wasn't bad. The reason I would play it earlier was to disable him from building a big board and valuetrade with a potential Flametongue (which he did), and manage future overload better. That being said, your plays weren't bad, and I don't think losing this was your fault.
Game 6:
On turn 4, you used Jade Lightning against his Mire Keeper. His Mire Keeper was already contested by your 3/4 Tar Creeper, so I would have preferred Mana Tide Totem hero because it was almost a guaranteed >2 draws as it was defended.
Picking the Fire Plume Harbringer from Servant of Kalimos was interesting with the hand you had, but debatable (greedy).
Game 7:
Turn 2 emtpy board: Hero power > Jade Claws.
Turn 4 you simply cast Jade Lighting on his face. That was a huge misplay, because you could have used that to contest his Priest of the Feast later on.
Granted, he had Raza on turn 5 and Deathknight on turn 7, so that match was absolutely hard. I think you would have stood a better chance if you had saved that Jade Lightning, but yeah..
Indeed, I lack scene of discounting Thing from Below and awareness of avoiding potential threat. BTW, since I played about 200 games with Evolve Shaman, not including Thing from Below, the experience tells me that playing Jade Claws on turn 2 is better than using hero power. Is it different from the deck including Thing from Below?
Would you still play Hero Power, even though you know you may play Jade Claws on turn 3 with losing 1 Mana Crystal?
However, I got some confessions with several points below.
Game 3:
If I killed the huffer with weapon, I would become 19hp on turn 3. I think it was not good against hunter, so I chose trading it with a 1/1minion and Maelstrom portal.
Game 6:
Considering the discovering from Servant of Kalimos, Hallazeal the Ascended would not save my ass at that situation since I had no AoE spell in my hand. Hot Spring Guardian would be valuetraded with 6/4 and 5/5. Therefore, I picked Fire Plume Harbringer for building huge board next turn.
Is it better that if I played totems and Thing from Below instead of playing Servant of Kalimos?
Game 7:
I agree it was a huge misplay with Jade Lightning. I wanted to stack Jade Golem as fast as possible.
Is it better that if I hit face with weapon on turn 2 and turn 3? So, I can equip more one weapon and summon 2/2 Golem on turn 4.
I believe his win rate is legit. However, that says nothing about the deck quality. For instance, what was the ranking and the time/date he played the deck and on which server, not to mention actual skill/experience and luck needed to get a win.
Don't just copy paste a deck and expect to instantly get the same results it advertises. (And that is not only the deck's fault)
Thanks man. It's kind of irritating to see people just trashing it, while I do not have an obligation to share my decks (it's something I do for fun when they work well). It's not encouraging to see people just talk smack and leave.
I played this deck from rank 15 to rank 5 on October 12 and 13 on the EU server, somewhere between 16:00 and 20:00 on both these dates I believe.
The thing is, a lot of people tried to make elemental shaman work at the start of the Un'Goro meta, to no avail. The win rate is below 50%. I've tried it as well for a long time, mostly because I got two Earth Elementals and Kalimos in packs; aside from Aya, this is basically my deck list. Maybe that somehow the deck has become good since the Evergreen nerfs, but I doubt it. I don't think this deck is better than jade druid, razakus priest or tempo rogue.
