     Mulligan Guide: Blood Queen Lana'thel Can be tricky if you aren't careful. She has lots of removal and is able to continue gaining a ton of life back with her Vampiric Leech ability. You definitely want to hard mulligan for a 1 or 2 drop, because otherwise you will have to start using your newly granted ability, Vampiric Bite, on her minions.

     For the most part you will be ignoring her minions, unless you're able to stop an unfavorable trade or keep one of your Windfury minions alive for an extra turn. You don't want to hold on to any minions longer than you have to or she'll hit you with Blood Essence. You also don't want a lot of 2 Health minions on the board or she'll detroy them all with Demonwrath.

     One of the stars of this deck is definitely the Dragonhawk Rider, because you'll be able to do 10 damage to her each turn that he stays alive. Crypt Lord is an excellent wall to hide everything behind, forcing her to waste turns on sub-optimal plays. You want to make sure to hold on to the Gadgetzan Socialite and Earthen Ring Farseer to heal your Windfury minions, because they can wreck her in a very short amount of time, if left unchecked.

     All of my minions have at least 2 Health, so once you use Vampiric Bite on them she cannot kill them with just one hit of her special ability. This will buy you some extra time and force her to use her ability multiple times just to kill one minion. It's best to hold on to your Power of the Wild until the end, or in an emergency if you run out of minions to play, since it won't be destroyed by her Blood Essence.

 

     Although this deck is mostly commons I realize that not everyone will want to craft the older cards. If you decide to substitute anything you can swap out just about any other cheap minion with at least 2 Health or Charge. Acceptable subs would be Enchanted Raven, River Crocolisk, Hired Gun, Igneous Elemental, Reckless Rocketeer, and many more.
