Hearthpwn

I can craft one, either a sylvanas or thalnos.  Which is best for this deck as well as other decks?  I'm not trying reach legend yet, just trying to do dailys and have fun.

In general I recommend you Bloodmage Thalnos because you can use it in more decks / classes. I'm not sure how important Sylvanas Windrunner will get after Naxxramas.

Edit: You could use Loatheb as a replacement for Sylvanas Windrunner if you already unlocked Naxxramas.

Thalnos is useful in many decks, but is very low impact. I would go with Sylvanas - she is far more fun and a good 5 drop in many decks. Especially if you are lacking in legendaries, do not make Thalnos. He is good for rounding out decks, is an excellent card, but isn't as fun and isn't a high priority heavy-hitter.

Imo I would cut off an Ethereal Arcanist for an additional Flamestrike / Blizzard.

the salt is real lol

Mage is finally fun again.  Between the many easy combos and secrets, this deck can really off balance an opponent.

I'm not sure where your struggles are, so maybe explain it to me. The matchup vs hunter is rough but not impossible.

Hunter can be a toss up.  Usually if I get a turn 1 undertaker and a scientist on the board for turn 2, this deck can beat almost anything including hunter.  Its mostly about keeping his side clear while not having more than 2 minions on your side.  Feugen and Stalagg can create a lot of problems for hunters as well.

Azure Drakes aren't needed in this deck. Feugen and Stalagg do a great job because they've 1) a deathrattle which supports the Undertaker and second their effect from DR is nice. I don't have any problems yet with my cards so no need for card draw. Loatheb is a good choice in this deck, true, you can replace it with an Ethereal Arcanist if you want so.

Your deck has a late game approach, correct. The problem is Ysera doesn't fit in the current meta, in the most cases she won't bring any value. Also Ragnaros the Firelord is way to slow for this deck. This deck by Amaz shines in the Midgame with their lots of combos. Imo I would replace the following cards:

Ragnaros the Firelord <=> Feugen

Ysera <=> Stalagg

2x Azure Drake <=> Loot Hoarder

Why Loot Hoarder? Because you can keep your card draw + the Deathrattle to buff the Undertaker and have a better early/midgame.

Sure, put in whatever you like! As long as it works it's a good choice. :-)

This deck has climbed me up to rank 3 from 5. I am about 13-3. The only changes I made was a Loatheb for the Sylvanas and Loot Hoarder for Bloodmage only because I do not own them. Thanks for the deck

I'm glad to hear you like the deck. You could also replace an Ethereal Arcanist for Loatheb. Sylvanas Windrunner fucks up the enemy turn very often and forces the enemy to play around her.

I would play sylvanas if i had her, but I don't. :(

I'm sure you will get her soon ;) Loatheb is a good replacement though.

Deck is currently working very well for me (climb from 13-9 with only 2-3 losses due to very nasty draws and mulligans). Due to lack of cards, i`m playing Faceless instead of Sylv, Loot instead of Thalnos and IceBa instead of IceBl (so you can call it budget version :D).
