Hello guys,
With this deck, you will defeat the Lich King boss in the firsts attemps.
AAEBAYO6AgTgBfmrApGtAuO+Ag3FA9sD/gPjBdAH+AenCPAPiq0C9bsCncICscICm8gCAA==
Idea: Clean the board and then go face. Protect your important murlocs: Murloc Warleader and Grimscale Oracle.
Why do we have some spells? Just because you can use them on turn 1, and also after he plays The Price of Power, your deck will thin for your benefit.
Replacements: You can run this deck without legendaries: Old Murk-Eye and without Finja, the Flying Star. Just replace them for a second Journey Below or add 2 Tar Creeper or one Defender of Argus (you can replace almost every card in the deck with these ones if you want to).
Have fun!
first try?deck with style "once a year a stick can shot"
7 try,10 restarts,still not win
too ez , first try and win
Without Megasaur and Finya and Corrupted Seer still first try. Replaced as you suggested. Thank you very much.
Wasn't counting attempts, but it was probably around 7 or so before I got him with my variation on this deck (see below). Not including restarts to get the right card draw, or attempts where he killed my tidecaller on the first second turn.
Got tidecaller out to start, was able to drop megasaur on turn 4 with four murlocs on the board thanks to a summon, and from there it was smooth sailing. Killed him on turn 6.
Here was my version, swapping out a few things from the above so I didn't have to craft anything:
### Custom Rogue

Thanks! I defeat it in the 2nd try. But I had to remove (because I don't have them):
-Hallucination x 1
- Puddlestomper x 1
- Murloc Warleader x 1
- Gentle Megasaur x 2
- Finja, the Flying Star x 1
And instead I added:
- Sinister Strike x 2
- Primalfin Lookout x 2
- Trogg Gloomeater x 1
- Dark Iron Skulker x 1
f*** me! 1st try!
I built a mech rogue deck and beat him immediately:
Got that magical first-time go with this one! No legendaries, and got it on Turn 8 after Frostmourne.
I got the deck to work with some adjustments that seemed to work for me. First I removed all the spells since the Lich King removed them on turn 1 anyway. I also had to add two Doomsayers to the deck. I'd play one on turn 6. but here is what the new deck ended up being.
I added the following ### Custom Rogue
# Class: Rogue
# Format: Wild
#
# 2x (1) Grimscale Oracle
# 2x (1) Murloc Tidecaller
# 1x (1) Sir Finley Mrrgglton
# 2x (2) Bilefin Tidehunter
# 2x (2) Blowgill Sniper
# 2x (2) Bluegill Warrior
# 2x (2) Doomsayer
# 1x (2) Master Swordsmith
# 2x (2) Murloc Tidehunter
# 2x (2) Puddlestomper
# 2x (2) Rockpool Hunter
# 2x (3) Coldlight Oracle
# 2x (3) Coldlight Seer
# 2x (3) Murloc Warleader
# 1x (3) Plague Scientist
# 1x (3) Primalfin Lookout
# 1x (6) Corrupted Seer
# 1x (6) Maexxna

Got it first try great deck thanks!
For those who don't have all the rare+ Murlocs, I'm trying to use these as replacements:
- Glacial Shard - Can sometimes work better than a taunt.
- Southsea Deckhand - charge can help in early game
- Tar Creeper - protects Murlocs
- Raid Leader - Warleader replacement.
- Mind Control Tech - Use it for taking a Trapped Soul.
- Defender of Argus - Protects Warleader.
- Bonemare - Good if you get to turn 7.
- Plague Scientist - Use it for the Trapped Soul
- Shadowblade - early game control. Immunity is a plus too.
- Any extra murlocs might help. Specifically [/card]Primalfin Lookout[/card], which can get you Finja/Warleader/etc.
I still haven't had any luck though. Usually, when I get close, he plays Sludge Belcher or Blizzard, which completely slows things down. I usually restart if I don't knock off all his armor by turn 6. I feel like you basically require a Warleader and a Megasaur -> Windfury to have any chance.
Any suggestions? I only have one each of Warleader, Coldlight Oracle, and Gentle Megasaur. Is it worth crafting any? I play Murlocs in standard, so I'm considering it.
Edit: Just beat him. I was able to get a warleader on turn 5, and then I got Megasaur -> Divine Shield. Primalfin Lookout got me Old Murk Eye both times, but I picked Warleader the second time. He didn't use Blizzard after I killed the Trapped Souls. I'm pretty sure I drew straight Murlocs except for a couple Shadowblades, and a Defender of Argus, which were both very helpful. TLDR: For cheap Rogue deck, Megasaur (with WF, DS, or +3 health) and Warleader are required, along with help from Primalfin Lookout if you want any chance of beating him.
Is the goal to get him quick? Seems like once Frostmourne is played it's tough sledding after that.
Yeah, all these murloc decks are built to zerg him. I toyed around with the idea of trying to buff a weapon to use blade furry in the event you don't get him by turn 7, but it takes up too many card slots.
got him first try post warleader nerf! got tidecaller counterfiet coin and the buff all attack of murloc one
Murlocs baby <3
Turn 3 or 4 Murloc Warleader is clutch. Also, knowing when to go face and when to trade is also important. The health buffs are crucial for managing the board with beneficial trades. Otherwise the Lich King's board will slowly overtake you.
First try!! haha what a faceroll! Nice deck buddy
4th time made it for me. The trick was to pull of 1-2-3 curve into megasaur. It's also better if the 3 mana card for the curve is the coldlight seer since it helps you trade without losing your board.
First try!
I used Murloc Tidecaller to bite the Obliterate and waited to play Old Murk- Eye until my board was filled with murlocs.
He didnt use Blizzard
first try, no restarts. turn 5 lol. #rambo
