Hearthpwn

Hey guys, here i share a deck that i'm using since the release of the expasion.  I really liked the idea of control Shaman, so every new expasion i build and try to climb the ladder. Today i have an winrate of 49% at rank 5. 

Just to clarify, this is a solid deck, but its suffers from the actual meta. If you face a Jade Druid, it's almost an instalost. Saying that, let's take a look in the cards.

Taunt: Shaman have a good amount of taunts, and the new Drakkari Defender  it's a powerful tool against Pirate Warrior and Aggro Druids, also Primordial Drake and The Curator give protection and value , so are totally worth to use.

Freeze Package: KOT introduced to us the freeze cards to Shaman, while they are not powerful enough to carry a Freeze Shaman deck, in this deck they have a really good spot to use.  Voodoo Hexxer works pretty well because it's a 7 health taunt that can work like a Blizzard. Brrrloc is a murloc, so works pretty well with Curator and it's the main freeze effect to use with Ice Breaker. 

AOE:  Your main weapon against Aggro decks. Volcano can be used to remove heavy cards like The Lich King, Obsidian Statue and others powerhouses

Transform: Your main weapon against Big minions, especially against Paladin ones that have Powerful deathrattles.

Arfus: Well, Curator ask for beasts, so i put an Ironbeak Owl and this little guy as give you sometimes a powerful DK card. But thats my personal choice

As i said, Jade Druid just rekts you, so putting Skulking Geist will ony make this deck worst against others matchups.

Replacements: Depending of what you are facing, you can run:

Stonehill Defender: Value and early taunt
Avalanche: Another Freeze with some kind of removal
Moorabi: Maybe? i don't have him, so... maybe...
The Lich King: A really powerful late game
Bloodmage Thalnos: He always come and back in this deck, spellpower + draw works a lot to Shamans, so you can probably replace Arfus in you want 
Millhouse Manastorm: Millpowerful Managod to make your opponent concede when he faces this Hearthstone Old God.
