C'thun Druid is back!!!
Note- This list was initially inspired by Hakkene's theory crafted C'thun druid, I played a few games with it at rank 10 and decided to start off from scratch because the mid game felt a little weak. I created my deck with the same idea in mind, c'thun druid with malfurian and ultimate infestation. Here is a link to his list, please go to his page and check it out to support the creator ^.^

To anyone playing this deck because it has C'thun in it but is not having success with this list, try out TitanHS' newest control warrior list! I am currently 9-4 with it and enjoying it immensely. (Link for the deck is below).

Mulligan
Almost always mulligan for your ramp in all matchups, prioritizing Wild Growth and Innervate. However, keep Beckoner of Evil and Twilight Elder if they are in your starting hand.
In almost all matchups save your innervate to turn 5 bonemane turn 6 Lich King or turn 4 Dark Arakkoa. Only play an early innervate if you absolutely must in order to have an early play while staying on curve.
The true MVP of this deck is Bonemare, and it is the only reason this deck works. All of your c'thun buffers who would normally have no value in the late game are now all prime targets for getting a 4/4 buff!
I have won many games without drawing C'thun, only about 25% of my games have I actually played him. Generally I win in the end game by playing my more expensive cards like The Lich King.
Replacement Cards
Note - Any of these late game legendary cards can be replaced with The Black Knight or a Doomcaller. Both of these cards are matchup dependent, however, so don't always pick these two cards.
Twin Emperor Vek'lor - Can be easily replaced with Kun the Forgotten King, an Ancient of War, or a Primordial Drake.
Bloodmage Thalnos - Can be replaced with another Nourish for draw and ramp.
Fandral Staghelm - Can be replaced with a Druid of the Claw or a Spreading Plague if you are facing a lot of aggro.
The Lich King - Can be replaced with Kun the Forgotten King, an Ancient of War or a Primordial Drake.
Malfurion the Pestilent - Can be replaced with Kun the Forgotten King, an Ancient of War or a Primordial Drake.
If you have any questions on other card replacements let me know in the comment section below ^.^
Budget C'thun Druid
For those of you who do not have the legendaries in this deck or the dust to craft them, here is a midrange budget variant of the list.

Matchups
Favored
Control paladin, Token/Jade Shaman, Token Druid, Control warlock, Control Priest, Midrange Hunter
Unfavored
Control/freeze mage, miracle rogue and tempo/pirate warrior.
Aggro decks are very hard to judge with small sample size. so I can't say much about matchups outside of token druid and pirate warrior.
The Jade and ramp druid matchup has started to even out, but I believe Jade is slightly favored. All that matters in the matchup is who starts with ramp, and the current jade and ramp list run 6 ramp cards. My winrate against them is still about 50/50, but I am pretty certain that jade is favored and ramp is unfavored.
Feedback is much appreciated! Leave questions, deck suggestions, or even your experience playing the deck! Good luck on the ladder ^.^
Edits-
Extra ramp has been much better than a 4/5 vanilla most of the time.
Nourish was a dead card too often because 5 mana draw 3 cards is too slow, Replaced it with bloodmage for cycle/ better clear with swipe wrath.
Fandral is actually really good, it procs well with Wrath, Mire Keeper, Nourish and Malfurion the Pestilent.
what do you think about this deck? is it fun? does it have any chance in the competetive scence? i really wanna craft it but it seems like its dead :/
What would you replace the innervates with after the nerf?
Really fun deck! Who would have predicted C'thun being relevant in 2017.
I've been considering running earthern scales to boost dark arkora, and replacing both myrekeepers with weavers because you dont rely on ramp too much.
You might run out of steam much too fast with 2x Earthern Scales. If you decide to throw those in you might want a second UI.
replacement for twin emperor?
"You want another ramp minion instead! I absolutely recommend going with an Ancient of War if you own the card or the 400 dust to craft, otherwise a Primordial Drake or a Druid of the Claw would do."
(Sorry this was an earlier reply, not sure how to use the quote system for different reply threads D:)
Love this deck! currently rank8 from 10
It really depends on what you have in your hand and what is left in your deck. I mostly like using it for mana crystals because it makes the card a little more proactive, but this deck has a lot of low mana cards. Because of this I only use it for mana if I have late game cards in my hand or if I have draw.
I actually kinda agree at this point, I don't know what to replace it with though because having draw is essential in the deck. Any suggestions?
Any replacement for the Lich King?
Something big and impactful, Kun the Forgotten King, Ancient of War, or a Primordial Drake if you are facing a lot of aggro.
In most cases yeah, so many decks have access to easy removal of 1/2s. Priest has potion of madness, warrior and druid have Primordal, mage has volcanic. There are a few cases where the poisonous is better, but it is rare.
First recommendation would be Kun the Forgotten King because he has a similar effect, immediate board impact and healing if needed for the matchup (A 10 hp heal vs a burn deck is pretty good if you can afford losing a turn). If you don't have that card I would advise trying to use Vyraal's changes to the deck.
-1 Mire Keeper
-1 Malfurion the Pestilent
+2 Klaxxi Amber-Weaver
Most legendaries are not replaceable because they are so strong, and this is one of them unfortunately D: He has the immediate effect of giving two taunts and the overtime effect of giving you a 3hp heal per turn or a cardless Wrath every turn. So I think taking out some ramp because you are losing this late game card and adding more early and mid game presence is your best bet. Hope this helps -
Doomcaller is quite bad in this list. Youll basically never get the revive effect off, so youre just going to get the +2/+2.
Lich King or Kun is better.
I've reached rank 5 with C'Thun Druid, though I'm more or less stuck here. Majority of decks at this point are Jade Druid, or that weird Nemesis Priest, or Kazakus Priest which can outlast or out-ramp C'Thun about half the time. I'd suggest adding +2 Klaxxi Amber-Weaver and -1 The Lich King and -1 Mire Keeper for them. The 4/10 stats give a lot of decks a hard time for trading, and can bait out removal; plus they make great Bonemare targets. Additionally even if you don't get the 10/10 C'Thun requirement on time before playing one, a Yeti turn 4 is still decent. I also went with -1 Spreading Plague, in favour of +1 Fandral Staghelm, since 6 cards in the deck can be affected by him, including Malfurion the Pestilent's battlecry and power.
Excellent card choices! I remember back when The Old God's expansion had released C'thun druid was actually a midrange deck that used the 2 mana 2/3 minion that gave you an extra mana crystal until she was killed for ramp. I decided to cut the 4/10's in place of 4 mana ramp cards because we had lost that tool from the old expansion, but going back to midrange c'thun druid roots sounds like it could work a lot better! Fandral in place of Spreading Plague also sounds much more efficient, I think I will 100% make that change regardless as it makes for a proactive play in many matchups. Let me know how the deck changes work for you, I can't make it back to rank 3 after dropping down to rank 5 D:
C'Thun is my favorite card im glad you made this deck. I just built it will let you know how it fares
currently 23-5 with this deck
Great deck! It is so satisfying to play. Sure, games take 20 minutes -- and yes, sometimes you lose after that. But when you win, it really feels good :P
Only alteration I've made:
-1 Mire Keeper
+1 Doomcaller
For me, a lot of decks in the meta (currently in-between 15 and 10) have lasting power, and sometimes out perform this decks finishers -- since making this change, I've closed out a couple games I would have lost. Once I hit 10, I'll likely switch it back depending on what the meta looks like.
