DECK DESCRIPTION
Much like Dragons from Below Rogue, this is a long-term The Caverns Below deck using the new tools from Knights which include: Plague Scientist, Bone Baron, Grim Necromancer, and Saronite Chain Gang.
DECK GOALS
There is no hurry to complete the quest like the decks of old. You will always begin games with the plan of bouncing Swashburglar for value. In the mid game you will be bouncing Plague Scientist and Vilespine Slayer to control threats. Eventually you will might complete the quest with these first 3 options or you will fall into enough Skeletons or Flame Elementals by using Shadowcaster and Vanish.
THE MULLIGAN
The most important card in the entire deck is actually Swashburglar as it is always going to be your initial bounce plan. Vilespine Slayer is a very strong keep if you are going second with The Coin.
TECH CHOICES
Old quest rogue decks could afford to run Hungry Crab or Golakka Crawlers. The nerf to The Caverns Below makes these tech choices unrealistic.
THINGS TO NOTE
The power in Plague Scientist is it's interaction with the pirate cards Patches the Pirate and Southsea Deckhand. These charge pirates are generally best saved for the scientist. Be careful with Shadowcaster and Saronite Chain Gang as it will copy a 1/1 minion. This can still be useful for quest completion however.
SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM ME
Thanks for showing interest in the content guys. If you want to see more please ►SUBSCRIBE to my Youtube Channel. A new video goes up everyday MON-FRI, Thanks!
I wish I could win with this deck yet so far out of 5 games Ive lost everyone of them... you have way better luck with draw than I do. This deck is far too random and I just dont draw the combo cards or the RNG from Burglar gives me total crap.
Sorry you didn't have luck with it!
The deck was posted on August, 15th and most games were recorded 1 or 2 days after Knights of the Frozen Throne release when everyone was just playing Jade Druid still!
Well I changed a few things up and I have 5 wins 2 loses and I had 1 d/c lol. Ive changes up a few other things just to see how this control rogue might work. This is the new deck Im about to try out. I know its not really like yours, but it seems to work for me.

The video was informative and helpful.
Started playing this deck and it really resolved a lot of the problems I was having with Quest Rogue. Good early and mid, and the slow pace lets me build up, rather then going all or nothing all the time.
Saronite Chain Gang with Shadowcaster has won me a few games, and got off my quest, something I would of never thought was feasible.
I don't have patches unfortunatley, so I switched it out for Valeera the Hollow. A bit more susceptible to early game aggro, but the long haul pacing of the deck lets me get to the point where I can play Valeera and then make more value from my cards.
(Also I can't believe I haven't tried cycling Swashburglers yet...I feel like Im stealing more cards then my Thief Rogue Voss Deck haha)
+1 from me :)
I love this deck. I've been trying to make quest rogue fun to play since the nerf and this accomplishes that in spades!
