Fandral is difficult to access. He's really valuable when you have him but he rarely ever feels like a necessity. His main synergies in this deck seem to be Wrath and Feral Rage, both of which are pretty good when combined with Fandral.
If you have the dust and don't want anything else I'd say he's save to craft, after all we still have another expansion to go before he rotates
fwiw fandral's a pretty cool card to have in the collection regardless. generates lots of fun, different effects you don't see without him (e.g. unique art for druid of the claw/flame/saber). i keep a wild deck built around him for friendly matches.
Agreed - when you manage to pull off a good Fandral combo it can win you the game, but I feel like I normally end up settling for a 4-dmg + cycle wrath and then eating some of my opponent's removal on their next turn. That being said, I haven't tried him with the new 2-drop, so can't comment on the synergy there.
If I was unlucky enough to pull hadronox, is he even worth putting in this deck? I feel like he'd just summon a bunch of 1/5s most of the time, if he even went off.
Actually he is sometimes useful.
I use him in this deck instead of Golakka Crawler.
The thing is you don't have to wait to play him until alot of taunt minions die.
Just play him when you get the chance.
Even if no other taunt minions died before him, you will eventually start playing taunt minions and hadronox usually survives until other taunt minions die. Which mean he is growing.
I usually get at least one primordial drake from him later on. Best case scenario, I get 2 drakes and the lich king back to life.
Though I wouldn't recommend anyone to actually create him. Just pointing out he is okay to play.
Hadronox is great. Pair him with Deathwing. Clear the board, get all your taunts back.
I have 0:3 on this deck. What i'm doing wrong?
3 attempts is really enough to get a good gauge for any deck.
It could be variance in players / deck match-ups it could be mistakes from yourself using a new deck etc.
give it at least 15-20 games before you start to get an understanding of how the deck works.
If they knew they'd tell you.
I am on a budget, F2P aside from pre expansion packs...(was rather unlucky on them)... and am missing the druid DK. My question (in all seriousness) is how essential is he to the deck? Does his value significantly increase win rate or can I replace him with Ancient of War or BogChamp?
he can help you survive quite i bit with +3 armor each turn
He is essentially the centerpiece to this deck.
Most of the time you play Nourish, you need to use it to Ramp early on so that you can Ultimate Infestation on turn 6/7/8. Think of it like this, Nourish is expended early in the game to get a mana crystal advantage, and then you use UI before your opponent, if he is a Druid, to gain board advantage, card advantage, health advantage and tempo.
tons of people are running skulking geist with jade popularity.
Might be careful with jade Idol
golaka crawler is not needed this meta i use arfas ,,,also u must have LK removal = the black night.
nice one
What decks consistently have a 60%+ win rate vs this deck?
As an aggro player, its infuriating to me that this deck is good against both control and aggro. Innervate to the 5 mana taunt scarabs when your opponent has 3 minions on the board pretty much stabilizes the game for you. If you don't have only 2 minions on board, chances are you won't have enough damage to race before they get jade elephants up.
I only have a 50% win rate against this deck at rank 10 ish playing face hunter.
It basically boils down to whether druid draws innervate early or not :/
In fact the combination of this deck + the highlander priest deck is making alot of other decks unplayable right now with sub 45% win rates.
Hope someone finds an even better aggro that counters them both. I had alot of hope for Bearshark's immunity but it only winning 70%+ vs priest, and this matchup is still 50%.
I guess the only way to play aggro is play in wild.
The problem is not that this is a control meta and not an aggro meta. The problem that OP is highlighting is that having 1-2 dominant decks with no counter is not fun. Having any deck that can't be countered is unhealthy for the state of the game whether that deck be pirate warrior or control druid.
