I was bored with a typical decklists that everyone copy and play. I really don't like to play mage mirrors: you draw beter, glyph and portal  and you win, your opponent do this better and you can't do much about this.

So I decided to try something different and somehow it took me from the rank 3 to Legend with this decklist.

We are trying to push opponent and fight for the board with a minions  and not only with a spells compare to the standart Burn mage.

Pyros Water Elemental Burgly Bully are really good minions for the mid game.

I think Archmage Antonidas can perfectly compensate that we are not playing AlexstraszaPyroblast

Be carefull with your hero health since we don't have any heal and taunts. The health is your main resource since we have so much value at this deck. I am really happy when opponent spend his damage on removing my minions.

For example vs. another mage on turn 7 I can just play on tempo Archmage Antonidas to prevent his turn 8 Medivh, the Guardian

The hardest matchup for me was Jade Druid. If you like mages and meet lots of Jade Druids on ladder you should try Secret Tempo Mage. But I think Secret Tempo Mage worse versus other aggro decks compare to my decklist.

Golakka Crawler is so good versus Aggro-Druid, Pirate warrior, Miracle Rogue, Evolve Shaman. Sometimes even palladins played few pirates.

Eater of Secrets you need this card versus all mages otherwise this deck will lose without chances. Sometimes it's also helps versus palladins

The Black Knight is a technical card. You can easiely replace it for something else.

Bloodmage Thalnos not so sure about this card. But since we are not playing secrets I like to have some card draw. What else can be good second drop?

I like that the deck is flexible: there is many technical cards and you can easiely change them. Which also good because my opponents normaly don't know what should they play around and it gives some extra wins on ladder.

As there is many cards possible to replace, but we have some core already. I am looking forward for the new expansion. It can be really cool new mage deck.
