Obviously the goal is to to pull out your murlocs with Finja, and either control the board or punch your opponent in the face with them. It kinda acts like a Curator or Hemet and let you draw your better value cards.
Built to be fun and viable, which is why cards like Yogg, Elise and Medivh are in the deck.
It was showcased in a live stream and in a video by kiwiiNbacon !
cool funy deck,THx
Losses hard to aggro.
This is stupidly fun, I love it! Thanks for bringing a dose of originality to the game!
Why are people getting serious over this deck. Just have fun with it while waiting for new xpac.
Fun to play but shitty as hell
this deck is real fun to play and finally my yogg card has a place :D
Secret mage? Jade druid?
no thanks
I had all the cards except the Tome and I was bored so tested this deck and its really fun. Everyone emotes when I play Finja, even better when i get a kill with him next turn and play 2 Murlocs from hand, instant 12 damage. Burn usually does the rest.
replace for tome and elise?
The issue I see that I myself struggle with quite a lot is the merge of tribes/strategies ideas. You need to commit 100% to murlocs in todays meta otherwise they won´t work. You can´t commit 40% of deck to murlocs, 30% To tempo cards and 30% to removal. Murlocs should be your tempo and most removal should be done by trade. Something like 80% murlocs 20% other cards could work.
say that to murloc packaged aggro druid, that has insta value from buffing 2 popped from your deck murlocs and from other crap that lies on the board with 1 mana spell. sometimes it works much better than traditional 2crab/2 wolf+2hydras+swipe or whatever tech cards this druid has.
A Druid has the advantage of direct minion buffs though. Mage only has one minion it can buff, and that's Mana Wyrm (if you exclude those that cost less depending on spell amount played etc.). The only way Murlocs get buffed when played with a Mage is via each other, and there aren't really enough. In a less aggro meta this could work, but you need to either have removals, walls, or the same amount of aggro to throw back at the opponent to trade. With a good Mulligan this deck might work, but I've not had one once (e.g. 7+ Mana cards before and after Mulligan are not helpful AT ALL).
The deck does look fun, but problem is, so far I've not won a single game. I'm very experienced with Mage decks (played them all, Quest, Burn, Freeze, Secret, and varieties), as well as Murloc decks (Quest Shaman, Murloc Paladin, Murloc Warlock etc., so I understand the synergies). It just doesn't get a chance to get going. The Mulligans never give you the right cards, or a good curve so far, and most opponents have you down to zero health, before anything gets going.
It really looks like fun, and there is a lot of value, but it's a bit of an alround deck it seems, and in the current meta it might try to do too much. Maybe I just had the worst match-ups going, which seems to be a daily thing lately.
Anyway, fun deck for sure, but for me, it didn't work. I've even tried replacing some cards, no luck.
Looks like a fun deck, going to give it a test drive
you can change elise and yogg, they are not required.
Can i change Yogg? XD
If you want to have a good time on the ladder, play this deck. It is super fun due to the immense value behind every single card and it also can hold quite well against most of the meta decks currently. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
