this guide is work in progress
and yes i played it all the way to rank 5, over 120 games 53% winrate
Mulligan guide
aggro: no matter what always expect to be pirate, druid aggro and exct.
always keep healing wave its is your win condition against aggro with the heavy curve you win it 90% of the time.
any board clear, healing wave + board clear is a concede most of the time from aggor.
ooze- ooze is interesting I don't like to play it early against pirated its best on upgraded or arcanite reapers so if you want to go for board control you could keep it but with so many other tools a mulligan it away
devolve is always a keep against paladins and druids. Maybe sometimes i keep it just incase.
deathlord is almost always a keep.
mistress is mostly there for the heal i would suggest keeping it but not playing till you need the health
- 2 ancestral knowledge
- 2 death lord
- 2 mistress of mixtures
- Ooze
- Cairne
+ 2 Far Sight
+ 2 Earth Elementals
+ 1 hex
+ 1 Jinyu Waterspeaker
+ Thalnos
+ Sneeds Old Shredder
+ Sylvanas
This deck is already an aggro crusher, so no need for mistress or ooze (Palys are easy match too).
That's how I like it at least. Maybe another devolve would be cool, cause it's stupidly good against other N'zoth decks.
Deck is shit
Edit: Let me rephrase that.. fun when it works, but gimmick at best.
well yeah fun is main aspect, aswell as winrate being above 50%. Most decks if you play enough level out to 50-60% winrate all those above haven't played enough of the deck. This deck is good against current meta except jade druid.
You're wrong tho.
According to last vicious syndicate, ancestral spirit/reincarnate shaman has top 3 average win-rate in the meta.
Not to say that, from last month, it's the deck with the biggest win-rate increase!
Good take on a control shaman deck. Similar to what some tier lists publish with some questionable adds (mixtures?).
Very meta dependent - this is the deck that killed the PW gold rush, but pretty bad against control priest.
Having a lot of trouble with jade decks, but it beats pirate warrior so I'm happy
i have 80% wr against pirates over 300 games its is incredible, but jades well they suck
cairne is too slow for wild. try sylvanas instead. reincarnate + sylvanas combo
I replaced the Sludge Belchers for Stalag and Feugen for the lulz. Great deck though!
delete double post
25-5 and you also say 53% WR?
I think he means from rank 25 to rank 5.
Oh i see... derp.
wow, so greedy. I like it! thanks for the deck
I replaced Emperor Thaurissan with Sylvanas Windrunner and it makes things nice and irritating when you use Ancestral Spirit or Reincarnate on her or Sludge Belcher. A little slow against aggro, but if you can get at least one Belcher down and combo it, your N'Zoth turn will be nuts. I've had more than one game where the opponent conceded instead of trying to get past three Belchers, two Sylvanas and a Cairne.
EDIT: Could be worth dropping one Mistress of Mixtures to add Bloodmage Thalnos to combo with Maelstrom Portal against aggro. Maybe even both to add Thalnos and an Eater of Secrets since so many Standard players seem to be bringing their Secret Mage decks into Wild.
yes i've tried many variations but for me this list seems to work the best as if right now
btw i don't play sylvanas because with so many aggro matchups she is useless but emperror give you keltuzad combo win condition
what about Sneed's Old Shredder instead of Cairne Bloodhoof?
