Jade Spirit's recent Elemental tag update immediately made me want to try and merge elemental chaining and jade golem growth mechanics into a fun deck. This deck isn't exactly the most consistent, but, if you're able to start throwing down jade spirits and getting shadowcaster combo plays going, it's really fun.
I'd really like to get this deck running efficiently, so any critique and suggestions for improvement are welcome.
Video update: Good guy KiwiiNBacon made a quick deck showcase video.
Build update: Will test the deck with -2 Fire Plume Phoenix and +2 Jade Swarmer to see if it runs more smoothly.
P.S.: KiwiiNBacon tried the deck out on his stream (before he made the showcase) and went 5-3 (if I counted properly). 1st run (4-0) from 2:41:37-3:08:41, climbed from rank 10 to rank 9. 2nd run (1-3) from 3:30:15-4:04:00, all in rank 9. Here's the link to the stream archive:
Cool deck, dude! I had the same idea after the tag, and this is the deck i'm currently using:
Keep it up!
The only card I don't have in this deck is Patches. Would there be any form of replacement for him or is he a must in the deck?
Not good
The whole point of Jade/Elemental hybrid in Rogue, is to make Jade building more consistent. If you remove a Jade card, Swarmer, you are making Jade generation even less consistent than pure Jade Rogue.
I like the Phoenix tho. This is the place where it could shine, since Rogue is fit for Tempo builds. I'll try her in my own hybrid.
Thanks for the feedback! I've posted a new version that runs Jade Swarmers here :http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/863372-updated-tempo-jade-elemental-rogue
How do you deal with aggro such as hunter or aggro druid when they just flood the board? Hard to keep up without Fan of Knives or some other AOE
Yeah, it was pretty hard to make it to late game consistently. My new version has some changes to make up for it: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/863372-updated-tempo-jade-elemental-rogue
any replacements for shadowcaster ?
Maybe you could try a cheap bounce minion like Youthful Brewmaster or Gadgetzan Ferryman in order to get a similar use out of them. I suppose you could use Ancient Brewmaster for a comparable body, but it has a high cost and is therefore not conducive to single turn plays.
Thanks for the feedback! I'm trying a few changes to make the deck more likely to hit the mid-to-late game.

Traded out vilespines for argus, been dominating with it
Interesting choice. I'm including that with a few more changes as I test more deck refinements.
I am super happy to say that this deck is extremely strong :D not only does no one expect it but it can also wreck havoc on the current ladder!
Here is a video showcasing the deck in action
Jade Swarmer is one of the best targets for Shadowcaster. Not really much point running Jade Rogue without it. I would take out Fire Plume Phoenix for it
I agree, good list overall but I would make this change too.
I thought it would be too slow for the deck since it doesn't immediately affect the board or work with the elemental chain. I do agree that it's another good choice for Shadowcaster and a good draw with mimic pod. I'll give it a try when I have time to play again and see if it works out. Thanks for the feedback!
My new version runs the swarmers, but I opted to keep Fire Plume Phoenix instead of SI:7 Agent to more consistently activate elemental chains. Let me know what you think! http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/863372-updated-tempo-jade-elemental-rogue
