This is my take on the new tempo rogue.
I find it curves really well and can outplay allmost anything. I still need to do lots of testing but if anyone wants to give this a try and give me feedback, that would be appreciated.
It keeps up with zoolock and shockadin really well and can overpower them in the late game. Against control you are able to rush them down or use the obvious Leeroy Jenkins + Cold Blood combo to get a surprise finish.
UPDATE:
I changed 1 Loot Hoarder for Bloodmage Thalnos. If you encounter lots of aggro keep in the Fan of Knives otherwise I'd replace it for an extra Sap to deal with annoying taunts or buffs (especially vs druid). When encountering a lot of taunt add in The Black Knight (swap out an Argent Commander or Spectral Knight).
UPDATE 2:
I've swapped out Zombie Chow for Undertaker. It just makes more sense, I thought it wouldn't trigger enough. That's why I didn't put it in at first, but playing with it has shown that it has more potential than Zombie Chow.
With the incoming Nerf to Leeroy Jenkins do you think an Arcane Golem can do his job or you will change something else?
I've been playing some games with this deck now and i am impressed by its performance, i like playing with it allot! I do feel that Zombie Chow is a dead card for me unless I get/mulligan it in my opening hand. How do you think about it?
Interesting deck!
Maybe considering adding another cold blood and the duplicating ooze?
I cut both Ambushers because they felt too weak to me, replaced them with a second cold blood and an assassin's blade. Also replaced spectral knight with Cairne, the deck has been fairing a lot better for me after these changes. Please try and tell me how it works for you.
How has this deck been fairing in ranked? I've been playing allot of Backspace rogue lately, and it seems like a bit of a slower midrange deck might be the better choice atm.
GREAT deck. It seems like the only rogue decks that are played on ladder currently are either miracle and/or backspace aggro. This is a fantastic deck that most opponents don't know how to react to. Works well against slow control decks or has great rush potential against faster decks. I am considering swapping out the loot hoarder for a coldlight oracle though. Sometimes I get low on cards and I'd much rather draw two immediately with the drawback that my opponent draws two as well.
Edit: 7-1 so far around rank 10. Lost only to a Handlock that put a Mountain Giant down on turn 4 and double soulfired my Ambusher which sent back my Harvest Golem. Then on turn 5 he played Loatheb. That game was unwinnable from the tempo loss. Otherwise it's going great.
I took out Dancing Swords and replaced them with Edwin VanCleef and another Harvest Golem. I think it would be better to replace the golems with Earthen Ring Farseer's, especially while running Anub'ar Ambushers.
Currently rank 6 and i just tried out this deck because i hate miracle rogues and I'm 3-0 so far, I'm surprised how well I'm crushing the other decks...
+1 for using Sprint.
