DECK DESCRIPTION

Climb the ladder fast while still keeping some of your dignity with this "Weapon" Warrior deck. We will include some tribal cards which includes N'Zoth's First Mate, Bloodsail Raider, and Southsea Captain. However, unlike other privateer decks on the ladder our aim is to control the board completely. Taking out the face cards Mortal Strike and Heroic Strike leaves room for more board controlling cards like Ravaging Ghoul and Bloodhoof Brave.

DECK GOALS

Board control. We are in no hurry to win. This deck features hundreds of potential face damage because it runs many upgrade effects and two (yes two) copies of Gorehowl. Your goal is to clear the board every turn to protect cards like Frothing Berserker and Southsea Captain. Only go face if makes sense, like don't hit a 1/1 with your Arcanite Reaper.

THE MULLIGAN

Although we are "Weapon" warrior our mulligan strategy is the same as other raider decks out there. We want N'Zoth's First Mate, Fiery War Axe, and Bloodsail Raider and not much else. Keeping Southsea Captain with the The Coin is a great idea because of the synergies with Patches the Privateer.

TECH CHOICES

The Black Knight Kills things dead. Thats what we want. No puny Spellbreaker in this list my friends.

THINGS TO NOTE

Your opponent will mistake you for a buccaneer deck which will give you an edge. The single copy of Grimestreet Pawnbroker serves you best hitting a Gorehowl however don't save it just for that situation. A free upgrade will always do work. Don't use your [card]Rusty Hook[card] charges going face unless you are already weapon heavy on turn-1, it is very valuable at controlling the board against other aggressive decks.
