(a mix of Water Rogue and Deathrattle Rogue)

(Season 40 July 2017) fast Legend in first week [50% WILD cards]

Low Skill Floor - High Skill Cap, you can compare this deck to oldschool Zoolock

Ahoi, my name's Kohai and this is my deck guide about a mix of Water Rogue and Deathrattle Rogue. This deck is A LOT different than the Water Rogue in Standard as it contains a lot of Wild cards which allows us to use the most powerful ones in the history of Hearthstone. I got legend with this list on the 7th of the season. The Idea of this deck is to beat every minion based deck. (aggro, midrange) The downside however, are decks like Freeze Mage and Control Shaman don't need a board to win and can deal with your board. (Freeze Mage ignores it and Control Shaman has Devolve and Hex) The second point: big minions early on (Miracle Rogue with Edwin VanCleef and Innerfire Priest with their buffs) you don't have a single hard removal except 1x Sap

Your game plan:

Against Aggro: Try to keep board control in early game with strong combos like Nerubian Egg + Unearthed Raptor. Backstab, Swashburglar, Patches the Pirate, Southsea Deckhand and your Hero Power help you to get board control. You might get a lot damage to face until around turn 4 - 7 where you should be a able to taunt up, stabilize and win the game 1 - 2 turns after that with strong comeback mechanics like Cold Blood and Finja, the Flying Star.

Against Midrange: Curve out, take almost all trades. Finja, the Flying Star most of the times wins you the game alone here. Take trades until you get to a point where you can either burst your opponent down with Coldbloods, Eviscerates and Deckhands OR they can't clear your board.

Against Control: Always keep deathrattle minions alive to avoid good board clears. Take value trades and go face. Hope you get a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 curve, The Curator helps to not run out of steam until you can burst them either down or you win by board control.
