nope, no Fandral. So I think titi18241's answer has to be the explanation for that situation
Patches warrior will just armor up to out last you in the card draw damage game..... Not that great a counter, already 1-3 with deck against Patches decks.. lawl, yea...not much of a counter sadly. And if you did win, you wasted 15 to 20 minutes to out last them because they're stubborn idiots and will "play it out" lol. So, who is the real winner? No one playing or playing against this.
Edit: 2-3 now.. I just spent 43 minutes playing this against a golden legendary warrior that at one point had his armor and health at 74.... LMFAO. On this day... neither of us won.
and since you're a priest, you can heal 2 per turn ... how convenient
This deck loses to all non patches decks though. Mind Blast destorys you, upgrade destorys you, potion of greater healing destroys you, jade destroys. The only thing you beat is patches, which other decks can do just as easily.
well, this is not true. Murloc Tidecaller also ain´t a problem, since Power Word: Glory stacks, meaning, that you can put 2 Power Word: Glory on those murlocs with up to 7 attack. however, a Warrior or Druid simply just stops to attack and builds up armour, which should make the Priest lose in Fatigue
but most important: who cares, that it can´t counter all decks? beating those tons of decks with Murloc Tidecaller or Patches the Pirate even once is just so much fun :-)
the inevitable mirror matchup is real fun
It doesn't win against Patches.. You use Power Word: Glory and your opponent pings with the mage passive until you out of cards and life.
It does, mages can only ping one thing at a time, so you'll quickly get more PWs than mage can ping. When all Patches in board are marked, you heal your face and patiently wait until mage runs out of cards (wich will happen long before you do so).
Mage passive = 1 damage, Priest heal = 2 healing. Net +1 health per turn while opponent cannot heal self.
really nice idea, which usually works against all those Patches the Pirate and Murloc Tidecaller.
and that priceless :-) moment, when your opponent realizes, that he can´t clear his full board, which only purpose is to heal your face :-)
beat idol druid.
charged up his minions.
went AFK for a smoke.
had thoughtsteal when i came back. made 6 idols in my deck.
druid conceded lol.
got another game with me getting an idol card. this time we went max turns and both lost haha.
This deck literally loses against everything else
jade idol beats this deck cause it can counter fatigue.
More like "anti-patches/ lose against any other deck"
Does not work against ice lance mage, sadly.
Got the pack second try. First was against druid who picked Raven Idol. I couldn't keep up. After he saw what I was doing all he did was pick spells from then on and grabbed wisps of old gods, power of the wild, and savage roar. Was dead by turn 15.
Second game played against rogue sinister strike. He got me down to 10 early on but I got lucky and got a minion with one of my 8 cards and loaded him up with 5 glorys. He conceded after seeing me at full health again and him with 1 card in hand.
The strategy is to make the healing from Power Word: Glory greater thant their attack. If you dont play any minion, they are stuck with a useless board that can do nothing. After, you wait for the fatigue and win because you can heal. That simple.
Don't forget that power word:glory stacks...
Countered by warrior patches but I have been lucky to have cabal priest + holy fire + mind blast in my randomized cards so I won.
