Below average deck, don't know guys how you are playing it

upd. replaced medivh and amber with 3/3 epic roots (don't know english name), works well now.

Thanks for the list it's pretty fun, I'm using this and a Jade Rogue atm to rank and have been using both for a few days now. I'm struggling to get past rank 12 atm but it's hanging with everything so far and I'm still getting used to both decks. It's just nice and refreshing to be playing a dragon Priest again.  Anything besides the buff priest and quest is nice lol. Also I don't have Lyra atm so its nice to see a deck that's good without it.

I got a friend playing it atm and he likes it as well.

I've been thinking of taking out Medivh for something like Elise but I'm not sure yet, Today so far everytime Medivh has served me well but the past couple days everytime I threw him out they destroyed my weapon lol. So I'm undecided on that because he's really fun and actually saved my ass a few times. 

I haven't tried any of the subs for cards mentioned in the comments here yet because everything seems to be flowing very nicely so far but I'll look into that at some point. 

All in all though super fun deck, I never thought Free From Amber would even be playable in a meta like this because it seems so slow but damn it's actually pretty beastly in this. I've gotten great results out of it even without the Medivh combo that saved me many games.

No so far I've stuck with your exact formula but I'm stuck at rank 9. I think that's just due to my skill though because I have quite a few legit decks that I've been trying and they aren't working good enough for me to get past rank 9 atm either lol.

A C'Thun Paladin??? I haven't seen C'Thun since 2016

No offense but in my opinion this deck isn't as good as compared to the standard priest control with elise / medievh / lyra . ( don't expect to have tempo early and be the aggressor ... ) 

Deck doesn't really have good minions to contest the board early but rather depend on cheap spells or board clears which might be too late while control priest usually already have this package ( potion madness , dragonfire , shadow words ) . 

In the past dragon priest succeeds by having the high stats line dragon synergy but the current dragon is just using dragon synergy to grab more dragon or steal cards however not being controlling at all in the beginning . 

Solid deck but i feel so uncomfortable playing priest without Madness in the current environment.  It just gives you so much early control that you need to survive with.

IMO the title make's no sense, too.

I called it Shadow Dragon because of the shadow spells. :)

No offense its just nearly all Priest decks run this 3 Shadow spells. But i know Shadow Dragon sounds cool ;).

Cool deck list, but I wanted to get even more greedy value so added Lyra and Elise for one Faeria Dragon and the Mind Control (a bit too slow IMO).

The result was sweet for the start of the season :)

whats the 1 mana priest card that wins you the game instantly against hunters.

No card draw? Northshire Cleric. No spells? Divine Spirit/Inner Fire is a game-winning combo. No AoE? Ever heard of Dragonfire Potion?

And the stealing from the opponent's deck instead of the opponent's class is way better. In constructed people usually play cards that are actually competitive, whilst there are loads of crappy cards in every class pool. So the chance to rip a card that good, is way better with Drakonid Operative compared to, for example, Hallucination.
