This deck was directly inspired by pro tholwmenos murloc paladin http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/813622-rank-1-legend-eu-aggro-murloc-paladin

This is one of 4 decks I used in my first ever climb to legend! It has 4 changes from his deck which, in my profound arrogance I think are good changes for how the meta has adjusted since he posted, in substantial part because of his decks success.

I swapped a grimscale for a hungry crab. There are a lot more murlocs in the meta, and hungry crab wins mirror matches, and can get good value from shamans who run the murloc totem, quest rogues with tidepool caller, zoolocks (seriously, I still run into a few even at legend) and if you draw him against a player very unlikely to be playing murlocs you can use him to turn a weak/damaged murloc that has already attacked and is easy to pick off for value into a 1 mana 3/4 by killing your own.

I swapped one of the two true silver champions for eater of secrets. There are a ton of secrets in the meta right now, he wins matches against secret mage pretty much outright and still gets some value from matches against other paladins and the occasional beast hunter running cat trick. My justification for choosing Truesilver to swap out is that drawing both Truesilvers had killed me in a couple early games before I made the adjustment while my other 4 mana cards felt essential.

I swapped out one of the two coldlight seers for a golakka crawler. Pirate warrior was a very tough match up, and with a lot of quest rogues, miracle rogues, aggro druids, and shamans running the pirate package as well there are many good opportunities to get value from it beyond not getting constantly murdered by pirate warrior.

I swapped out stampeding kodo for the curator. I didn't really understand what that card was doing in the deck, there aren't a lot of two attack cards I'm worried about and if I get to that stage of the game what I really need is to reload my hand. Plus with the additional two beasts I added, his card draw potential is much more reliable than it would be in the original deck. He is a little more expensive, but I make some of that up in mana curve since golakka crawler is cheaper than coldlight seer.

This deck is viable at all stages of the ladder, I typically swapped it for another one if I was stuck on a level that featured a lot of beast hunters, pirate warriors, and aggro druids that were running just a little quicker and dropping too many hungry crabs on me. It was my most reliable mage and paladin killer, so if you're seeing a lot of that where you're stuck give this a try.
