Version 2.0 Post Lich King and Evergreen Nerfs (9/29/2017)
I originally ran this deck after the Ungoro release. Recently I was at 450 wins with Warlock and decided to revitalize the deck to finish off the wins that I needed for the gold hero. The deck in this state works surprisingly well. I streaked multiple multiple times even after reaching the checkpoint at rank 10 and 5. This deck takes planning and understanding how to utilize mana efficiently in order to build cards which you want to discard vs ones you'd like to play before risking the discard. It takes a bit of practice but once you have it the deck is extremely strong. ALWAYS mull for those 1 and 2 drops (imps, voidwalker, succubus and librarian).
Version 1.0 (5/25/2017)
Hello Everyone I'm Serpa#1461 a Legend player on the North American server. I've been playing Hearthstone since August of 2014 and have almost 15 year of Magic the Gathering experience prior to that. One thing I do is build decks well. I mean really well. I also get bored with the decks quickly and move on. I don't enjoy playing the same decks as everyone else in the meta. The best way to approach ladder climbing is know your enemies strength and weaknesses. With this in mind, playing something against the grain not only gives you the upper hand of knowing the functionality of their deck, but it confuses them on proper play of your own.
I'll be the first to tell you that this deck when you stand back and look at it, looks like a hodgepodge of shit. Just trust me it works. If you don't trust me, play it and see for yourself. On multiple occasions i had a turn 2-3 rage concede. This deck has the ability to out burst pirate as well as the taunt and card redraw capacity to stall out hunter and egg druid. Lakkari Felhound was an obvious choice after seeing the current state of the meta for hunter shift to many using 4/7 Roc's.
Three days ago I built this deck. To be honest with you I haven't tweaked much out of it because my win rate was absolutely superb. It originally started with Leeroy Jenkins and a demonfire, but those were the only cards substituted out so far.
If I get 25 likes on it i'll give you a mulligan guide that i use when i play it.
If you are looking for another deck which will make you hear "Thats Incredible" repeatedly, check out my warrior deck developed last week. In this I board control with nothing but spells and a few card draw and aoe damage minions. Easily stalling out every deck that I faced and dropping an entire full board of Arcane Giants which were then replicated and also still in my hand. CLICK HERE to check it out.
Any questions feel free to send me a friend request in game at my name above. Good luck players. See you on the game board.
Nice :) glad to know my efforts aren't in vain. I've gone back and forth about crafting the warlock quest just because of the sheer amount of discard the deck produces, however I don't want to stunt any starts due to having to force quest in first hand. I have been trying out a few switches lately and if I find they produce different results i'll modifiy the complete deck above. I think at the moment I swapped mjhn,mLeeroy Jenkins (Again), a second Darkshire Librarian, a bittertide hydra and 1 pit lord. Removed the unlicensed apothecary, dinomancer, hellfire, and vicious fledgling. If I decide to keep I'll post further playtest information.
Absolutely love the deck!!! So much fun. You do know how to make great decks... experimented with other cards like Jaraxxus but came back to this build after about 20 games and I started to understand the deck. Great job man! Thank You very much for sharing. I went from rank 15 to 8 currently on a win streak and so I thought I should comment since I'm planning to keep using it.
