Hello guys,

first of all sorry for my poor english, it's not my native language.

This "Murloc Quest" is my UnGoro's day one deck and yesterday (25/4/17) it took me to legend rank for the first time in my history (i play since open beta, so long time now).

The true reason i'm writing now is to share a really underrated archetype. In fact i only play for fun, few games a day, and nevertheless this one was capable of taking me legend rank.

Rank 3->legend, i went undefeated. Same for rank 5->4. Only few loss ('bout 2 or 3) on rank 3.

The gameplay is really simple (i was watching video on youtube while still winning in rank 2, so this is an autopilot deck).

Play the quest t1,then full the board/try to do favourable trades for t2/t3/t4. At this stage you'll be near to finish the quest. Apply pressure on the life point of your opponent and then play your quest's reward. If you play your Megafin with the right timing, your opponent will be dead in no time.

PLEASE NOTE that this deck is not refined, changes can be made, this list worked for me but could not fit your preference... Feel free to experiment.

Few more detail about the deck and some decision i made:

Unite the Murlocs is self explanatory, always keep (maybe you can mulligan it vs pirates because you win simply by clearing board, don't know i always keeped it)

Grimscale Oracle is a little Flametongue Totem, use it when you need its attack boost to trade, ore simply to enable your quest. It's cheap so it synergizes well with all the murloc cards

Murloc Tidecaller can be a match winner if unmatched for some turns. It's irrealistic but sometimes can appen, try to defend it but don't worry to play it with a coin t1 after the quest or alone to use all your turn's mana.

Maelstrom Portal is a matchwinner vs pirates and aggrodeck. It does all what you want, always keep vs paladin, hunter and warrior.

The 2 drops are very important in this deck. If you don't have the coin you are willing to play t1 quest, t2 2cost drop. Some are situational better than others. Let's look it deeper:

if your opponent has made a "no board" t1 the better are Primalfin Totem and Murloc Tidehunter. By far.

Depending on the match up, you'll want Bluegill Warrior to trade or to smorc. If you are the aggressive one in the MU, you'll smorc, otherwise it will trade something important.

Blowgill Sniper end the trade someone else has started. Very important.

I used Flametongue Totem as the last resource of my hand, usually when i had a board full of little guys. In this scenario this card rocks. Use it to single/double trade and you'll be safe.

Rockpool Hunter and Bilefin Tidehunter are really strong cards that have many uses, again, depending on the matchup.

Single Coldlight Oracle, i'm not a fan of this. I will clarify it later.

Coldlight Seer and Murloc Warleader are your beast weapon in many scenarios. Seer acts as a trade helper vs little guys and keep your murloc safe from easy trad/aoe. Warleader is by far one of the most powerful card in the deck. Enabling out-from-no.where trades, big swipe and much more.

Primalfin Lookout is cool because it help finishing the quest, help the curve, and finds solutions for you/dangers for your opponent. Very cool

Call in the Finishers do what its name suggests. 4 1/1 murloc are incredible. Both for completing the quest and waiting to be buffed by warleader/seer/oracle/totem/ecc. Really powerfull one.

Notable missing cards:

Finja, the Flying Star. This one was for me a 0 dust cost deck. So i didn't have Finja and i didn't crafted it. Now i can say it's powerful (discovered multiple times with the lookout one) and definitely it would swap with the single Coldlight Oracle. For sure.

Gentle Megasaur. I didn't opened one in about 60/70 packs so, as for Finja, i decided to exclude it. Now i don't know if i would play it, because it's situational (strong but situational), it's a 4 drop (cost a little too much for our standards) and it's not a murloc. Furthermore it's sometimes a gamewinning and sometimes you'll end up discovering 3 bad options (not frequent but could happen). Too much situational for crafting it and test it but if i would have it in my collection i would give it a try for sure.

EDIT: For Season 40 (July 2017) i finally take out the single oracle for Finja. Feel good!

Thanks if you have read all of this in my poor english.

Upvote and share you like the idea.

Feel free to make any suggestions, i think the deck has a lot of potential and one time it'll be refined, it coul be metabreaking.

Thanks a lot guys, see you.
