Hello, Luzkan here.

The designer of secret hunter that no one remembers today.

Divine Shield For The Win

I have no time to write guide right now and tbh idk if anybody checks for wild decks, so this will probably sink in the hearthpwn with +1 vote.

Rank 25 -> 6 in 1 night.
Rank 6 -> 5 with breakfast the next day.

Probably can grind its way to legend as well but I got exams and i'm feeling fine with the 400 dust from rank 5. Sadly got no time to spare for the legendary status rush this month. Hope you guys enjoy the deck! :)

Because the deck got +10 upvotes, I'll write few helpfull things to keep in mind:

  • The best way to play Blood Knight is after your opponent use hard single removal like Hex, Polymorph and etc. one of yours divine shield minions. It makes sure that he can't just delete a random 9/9 or 12/12 minion and it's an alternate win condition besides regular winning trough smashing face and securing board.

  • Blood Knight can be devastating as well if you go for something like Argent Squire -> CoinBlood Knight. Turn 2, 3 mana 6/6 gives your opponent flashback of the 4 mana 7/7.

  • The only AOE removals that counter the deck are Brawl, Mass Dispel and Devolve (ofc no one plays 2 of those so the deck dont give a single cake about getting aoe'd). The rest is utterly garbage as it needs to get trough divine shielded, buffed minions

  • The success with this deck is all based on the player decision making on when to trade, how to trade, how to protect minions with taunt minions and when to rush face. So it's not just midrange hunterino playerino cardinos on curvino and win but it takes some skill and planning.

                                                                                  Possible tech swaps:

1x Truesilver Champion for 2x Rallying Blade
Truesilver is more of a instant destroyer of the 4 health minions from turn 3 but Rallying Blade on the other hand can give you much more value

1-2x Divine Favor for 1-2x Loot Hoarder
Divine Favor gives you much more if you play against more "handy" opponents but is worse against aggro where u can expect sometimes up to almost no value from this card. This card cannot be buffed aswell.

1x 3 mana card for 1x Sir Finley Mrrgglton
Paladin heropower doesn't help us a lot in mid and late game. In the early game you can use it to generate 1/1 on turn 2 if you feel like it can help you a lot in specific matchup to have bigger hand to buff but later on the Warlock or Hunter heropower (maybe even the Mage one) can be much much more useful. Also 1 mana 1/3 buffed into 2/4 or even 3/5 gives retarded value.

1x ??? for 1x Recombobulator
Thats just for pure fun gameplay and some RNG based action in this 0% RNG deck. Basically the idea behind is that after you use it on for example Scarlet Crusader as it's now only 3/1 (without divine shield after trading if somehow it didn't get buffed earlier to a 5/3 or 4/2) to make from that another 3 mana minion.

1x Draw Mechanic or C'Thun's Chosen for 1x Jeeves
If you are running out of cards on let's say turn 6/7 then this boy 'let you get' that 3 more cards that you can replay into game almost immiedietly. 1/4 body with large health is a good buff targets but you can always protect him with taunts. The idea came from egg druids matchup where they basically played that card in my favor (btw. I didnt lose to any egg druid with this deck if anybody is curious).

2x ??? for 2x Echoing Ooze
Summons a copy of itself speaks for itself. Even without being buffed we can it's a 2 mana 2/4 spread in a shitty way but while in hand it acts like 2 cards being buffed for one. In usual scenario we get Turn 3 [3/4 + 3/4] [2 mana 6/8]. Sound good but I didnt test it and I have no idea what could make the cut for it. Most likelly a smart mind would fit that into this deck because on paper it rocks even without scissors.

Priest Disclaimer Problem:

On other site while linking to my deck I did mention that even though this deck gave me Apollo 11 16.07.1969 like skyrocket trough the ladder to my desired destination there was one a really unfunny matchup - Priest. As long as he played his quest it was all fine and easy but when it's any other priest, well, my deck got preety much wrecked. I didn't tech against it as I had huge winratio anyway against all other decks out there but if that filthy capelan gets more popular then it might be a problem. There are some people in the comments section suggesting tech against that matchup if u see them a lot.

Today is 20.04.2017 and i'm using these tech choices:
