i has soooo disapointed with this expansion i dint like most card ideas and then ..... THIS deck ooooh the fun i havent played HS for fun in ages (mostly quests and away) to whoever want to have fun and have the cards go for it if you dont have the cards then ask yourself "do i think competitive?" if yes then dont craft it "do i want to have fun? without carring about stars?" then go for it you wont get dissapointed
PS: its not bad for ladder but you have to have patience and luck if you want to ladder with this for real
He was doing so well with this deck the other day gave me so much hope and I still will always hold onto RAMP DRUID dogdogThump !
for black knight whatever you want i personaly have a jade growth for extra ramp for tyrantus> sogoth works really well arakoa too and ofc ancient of war/lore or whatever tech if you like those mc tech/ooze/crab pirate eater/ whatever
Its incredible how useful Ironbeak Owl is. This deck inspired me to make some changes to my Ramp Druid which was 50-48. After swapping some cards out I have the same deck minus one Feral Rage and The Black Knight and plus one Earthen Scales and Mire Keeper. I went 12-1 with this list today, rank 2 though so not legend quite yet.
Obviously I dont expect to keep above 60% win rate long run but I think this is a good deck to make legend with the current meta. So far zoolock seems to be its biggest counter.
Best of all this deck is very fun to play, which is most important to me.
taunt minions are great targets.

silencing you minisons from paladins aldor
if barnes bring a deathwing you can silence him to become 12/12 or any minion to regain its real stats
doomsayers, tirion ,buffs, highmane, taunts for lethal you name it

Super fun deck that is also fairly competitive in most meta matchups. I wouldn't go crazy and craft this deck if you don't already have the cards, but if you're rich it's worth trying out. I added a 2nd mire keeper and a jade blossom for more ramp, took out Black Knight and the Owl.
Ughhh Don't have 2 Primordial Drakes. What's another replacement? Ancient of War maybe?
Its hard to imagine this deck being competitive without the Drakes. Without them you have no AOE to counter all the aggro decks out there.
This is literally a tempo meta... even the aggro decks right now are slower and are more sticky to keep up with taunt warrior
(they have to beat them before they can't but when push comes to shove soul of the forest beats a turn 4-5 win)
you look at quest rogue(its a combo deck) but it revolves around out tempo'ing your opponent in the long run...
the only reason druid like this works right now really well is older decks like pirate warrior just cant beat the early game endurance followed by giant anaconda which when cleared pulls a tyrantus.
my point is Yes, spell damage would be great... when you look at azure drake, its just beautiful... but when you think about the concept of this deck and how the ladder segments are being played, it makes sense that even a spell damage based swipe would be useful but vs a deck that has some times several 5/5's by turn 5... personally I'd go with a card that could help me out tempo them so you can kill them quickly... or a ramp card to make that faster...
Don't get me wrong I loved azure drake... but the fact is, its out of standard and its gone... even with barnes for a deck like this to work even a newer bloodmage tech just doesn't fit with this concept(for this deck) because of space. bloodmage would be great but the point is even with this deck to make uncontrollable big threats earlier than other decks to win quicker than ever... that's what this meta is...
Point is... druid has changed... the game has changed... its a lot like right before naxx when you win by plying turn 4 yeti followed by doomhammer.... when its a tempo meta spell damage IS valuable but azure plus swipe(usually from turn 5-9) just isn't valuable enough to clear 4 5/5's when you could spend that time ramping, deathwing then quick win against rogue.
again spells ARE important
but with this specific of a deck that doesn't have room for even bloodmage without a lot of tweaking for consistency and not to mention drakes gone regardless...
drake into swipe isn't in the current state of the meta..
on the counter argument if it shifts to a much more all in, non sticky aggressive meta(pirate warrior, totem shaman...) sure spell damage + swipe is great... but to my recollection thats not really seen a lot atm so at least I am not running a spell damage removal based druid right now
final verdict = drake is gone in standard... get over it ... and even cards like wild growth in this list are conceptually more valuable then bloodmage...
but experience and opinions aren't fact so do what you please(just stating a argumentative based opinion based on experience and in all honesty, bias.
TLDR?
azure drake rotated out of standard. get over it.

i have the vast majority of the cards. im just missing the second death wing and black knight, any card replacements?
Black Knight is a meta choice and easily cuttable, Deathwing Dragonlord is key to the deck
The quest is redundant. It makes your starting hand worse, and it gives you a reward you don't need at that point in the game.
