Hi! i'm KayTheBaller.

I hit legend in standard pretty early, got bored and decided to experiment in wild. I was initially having a lot of problems with aggro decks especially pirate warr, so decided to create this generic reno dragon deck using newer cards.

I was stuck at rank 2-3 for a while losing to aggro and there are like no updated ungoro lists I could see for wild (pirate warrior is everywhere on ladder) so i tried to make my own.

How the deck works

This deck is like any dragon priest with the back up of Kazakus and Reno Jackson etc.... You curve out early game using strong dragon synergy with the bonus of Reno and Kaz. Pretty straightforward to play focusing on board control more than anything with efficient trades.

Matchups

There is a huge variety of lists on ladder bar SMOrc decks so I will try to talk about archetypes.

Aggro

The main focus of this deck. It is still possible to lose, but that is rare and more often than not due to misplay (happened to myself) .

General Mulligan:

Most of the deck helps against aggro (or are early drops and are fine to keep).

Some key cards: Doomsayer , Potion of Madness , Twilight Whelp , Acidic Swamp Ooze , Golakka Crawler , Wyrmrest Agent.... I also always keep Reno Jackson and Kazakus. and sometimes Twilight Guardian or Azure Drake to proc other cards but normally only with coin

Control

I didn't face many control decks. The mulligan is the same as Aggro, vs control you never run out of cards and can out value any decks. Normally your huge value turns come later on from using 2 discover minions alongside Brann Bronzebeard such as Netherspite Historian and Kazakkus or Drakonid Operative

 Quest decks (and Midrange)

Against these decks the game is pretty straight forward. You mulligan for a good curve and try to pressure them hard enough to win.

Cards that I'm not convinced about

Dr. Boom Obviously a very strong card but I'm sure can be replaced with something else

Tar Creeper  is a card I only tech'ed in to help beat aggro and there might be something better to replace in a slower meta..

If you have any other card suggestions let me know.

Final words

I don't have a huge sample size but this deck feels really strong, I will continue to try and refine/update it and if you have any questions about the deck or wild in general I am happy to answer them.
