This deck is not reliable, unless you're looking to have fun and a different game each time you queue up for the next game. The win rate goes up and down, but very much possible to climb with(personally from Rank 23 - 6 so far). That said, play it on your own risk.
The version you see before you is the one I personally play. HOWEVER, don't feel the need to run a 100% copy of it. A lot of the cards are still under "experimental" stage.
It'll help a lot of if you have some Rogue Class experience to run this deck early stage -- same same but different.
Cards I would NOT recommend to craft, if you're playing to run this version, unless you open them in a pack are:
Sherazin, Corpse Flower (been preforming better than expected and has some fun synergy interactions, though to early to say).
Obsidian Shard (I'm just not sure if a weapon like this is needed, good second candidate to replace with something else of your own thoughts if anything, Sap is probably one of the better replacements, even The Black Knight).
It'll help, I would recommend, if you want to play a deck like this that you have some prior experience playing Rogue and a firm grasp on how Hearthstone works and the cards it contains.
As any Rogue deck, keep the usual suspects in your opening hand for some early removal.
Backstab, Swashburglar (summons Patches the Pirate for early removal).. you should know the drill by now.
As for midgame, well It's hard to make any type of guide for that. Since most of the cards you'll play wont the be same you had the previous game(i.e play those 3 Tirions you got in your hand, or concede because of the 4x Totemic Mights...).
! This deck however, has other win conditions rather than "stealing the right card to win" and is usually the case when you do. A.k.a the beauty with the Rogue class. !
General small tips:
Don't hold your Ethereal Peddler for to long. Play it early rather than later(sometimes reducing 1 card is enough, 2 is the sweet spot).
Shadowcaster has some really cool interactions in this deck. Can YOU find them all(i.e Bounce 1/1 Flower and see what happens, or the other flower that destroys minions, no names given!) ;)
Ok that's it~
Don't say I didn't warn you!
I realize Elise the Trailblazer is more random, but why not run Leeroy Jenkins instead?
I've been testing something similar to this deck without Auctioneer, and Shadowstep can be very helpful too with Swashburgler, Vilespine Slayer. Ethereal Peddler..or the Leeroy mentioned above for 12 face damage on turn 8.
Well the point with decks like these is to try them work-ish but putting the "fun" factor in the front if possible. So if Jade is your poison, go for it! :D
I can't evaluate how well it'll do when it's also heavily based on randomness.
Good luck :)
Replace for elise? im dont have her yet
For this deck? Anything you enjoy to play personally. :)
This calls for a xaril!
I am having so much fun with this deck. The un'goro pack makes it a lot easier to get value from the ethereal peddlers.
I cut the obsidian shard, it felt a bit clunky. I replaced it with a sap, which has been working well against bigger threats.
Sherizan + shadow caster is a crazy combo. The 1 mana mini sherizan is great for bringing the first one back, then it becomes a normal 5/3 after you res it. I ended up keeping sherizan in my opening hand a couple of times and it paid off.
My one criticism is that it loses to any aggro/quest rogue, But like you have said, it is more for fun!
I replaced Patches with Lotus Agents(since i don't have Patches and i don't really want to craft it) and replaced one Vilespine Slayer with an Arcane Giant. Going cool so far.
had a lot of fun with this deck, but i added 2 arcane giants. Great tempo and with all the spells you throw, very cheap
I like this deck very much but it seems to slow for todays meta..Playing 4 cards each turn isnt that easy at all, since you dont have much of low cost cards..
As warned, this deck isn't a solid thing in more aspects that a fun factor. You can replace Sherazin easily with any card of your choice :)
TBK perhaps if you're running into to many Taunt Warriors.
This is super fun to play! I'd been experimenting with the same sort of thing with Lotus Agents in the mix, but the value isn't really worth how often you actually get to take advantage of the card you Discover from them.
Had you tried Lotus Agents at all? Thoughts?
I actually haven't tried Lotus Agents just yet. However, it DOES fit the theme really well, I'm going to give it a try. Think i'll replace Obsidian Shard with it, since that's the most under preforming card so far(even more so than Corpse Flower, imagine my surprise).
Also glad you like it as well as understanding that this deck is 90% fun factor 10% solid gameplay. :D
It'd be nice if Obsidian Shard triggered Gadgetzan Auctioneer, so the mana-reduction would be worth it.
